So was AirBnb'ing around the corner from this place and we decided to grab a bite. The food was yummy! Mom loves chicken nuggets and they were delish. I just had coffee and it was bien rico! Friendly service, good food, quick service & misting...fans. What more can you ask for. This was pre-Covid so the SD (social distancing) questions are not applicable.More

We stayed at an AirBnB close by and had breakfast here each morning. Excellent coffee, amazing fresh bread, and very good eggs! And the staff was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

I ate at La Farmacia on January 8, 2020. I had roast lamb. About 3:00 AM I woke up sick and threw up. I was sick flying home the next day and I’m still sick.

We arrived by chance and we enjoyed the best pina colada and coffee we had so far in Cuba. The breakfast for 6CUC was great and the staff was friendly and professional.

I choose to go here because I love the style of bars with seats and tables on the street. The drinks were very well prepared, can have less ice but was OK. You should taste the Long Island cocktail here. Also, the attention was very...good and attention to details.More

I visited La Havana five times in less than 2 years and since the first time a local friend introduced to me La Farmacia, I never missed few meals there, when I'm in town. The starting point is simple: average food in La Havana is...expensive and bad. Sometimes the more expensive, the worse is the quality. La Farmacia is a cozy and simple bar/restaurant in the historical city center, easy to reach and in a nice area. Most of the people who visit the city are cruise tourists and the location is just 10-15 minutes walking from the pier. Food is not bad, considering the average bad quality in town. And prices are acceptable, considering how expensive is everything there.More

This was the first place we went for dinner in Havana. the little alley looked very nice, the fish was decent but the ropa vieja was our favourite. the drinks are good too. we also loved the fried cheese balls appetizer.

The food was amazing and the prices are affordable We went there several times and tried the cheese balls, caprese salad, rice with seafood - which is paella in its own rights, the chef's special - lobster in tomato sauce (for only 15 cucs) as...well as all dishes containing fish. Everything was well prepared and the portions were rather generous (side dishes and all). The drinks were a surprise, in the sense that the lemonade changed its composition and taste depending on the bartender and the fruits available on the day in question. All were delicious! The pina colada came with a Barney drawing and looked too cute to drink :DMore

Setting is nice and location is fantastic. Very cozy walking street with several terraces and restaurants. I hate when the waiters are standing in the street pushing you the menu in your selling their place like a time share OPC. We actually chose “La Farmacia”...because the waiter did not approach us. But it was funny to realize that he actually was pushing sales to anyone walking by...but for some reason he let us go. Anyways, we enjoyed a good order of croquets and “tostones”. Well done. But after asking several times and insisting on the freshness of their fish, and after receiving all sorts of guarantees that fish was as fresh as it could be….well..guess what?...it was frozen. Not a big deal but enjoying fresh fish in Havana is a privilege that not everybody can find so it was disappointing. Another disappointing fact is that half way the service a waiter came through with a table and set it up right in the middle of the terrace, in a A1 spot, but not for a guest but for the owner who sat and sipped her drink like she was..well…yes..like she was the boss and expected all patrons to notice. We did. So, long story short, not really worth it. Just a another average “wanna” be restaurantMore
