Habana Mia 7 restaurante is simply at the top of the list where culinary experience is concerned in Havana, Cuba. It’s Chef and owner personally supervises and participates in the preparation of dishes. You will see him in the back kitchen and periodically out front...greeting customers. The drinks are superb, and the service supreme. Best time to arrive is near sunset. Watch the sunset over Atlanta Ocean, while observing Havana’s Classic fleet of American made Chevrolets, Fords and Chryslers Pass by from the outdoor bar. A very cosmopolitan experience in the heart ❤️ of Havana City.More

The restaurant is upstairs and across the street from the Melia Cohiba Hotel. It's an inviting place with a large kitchen window where we watched our meals being skillfully prepared. The chef appeared to be painting designs on the plates and artfully adding garnishes to...finish his works. The lobster bisque was wonderful, but not so for the grilled seafood platter. But, the serving was huge so we did not leave hungry.More

The centre of the restaurant features a large window into the kitchen, where you can actually see your food being prepared. It is pristine. And the food is exquisite. The red snapper, sautéed vegetables and rice were cooked to perfection.

I checked this out because of its ratings on Trip Advisor. I was not disappointed. As pricing goes, it was quite modest for Cuba. The salad was large and expansive (needed some conventional extras like balsamic vinegar, olive oil, seasonings). The fish was done to...perfection. I am often thrown in Cuban restaurants when asked how I want my fish cooked ........ I am not a bean or rice fan, so opted for French Fries. They looked perfect ........ except they were dry. I suggested to the maître d'hôtel that they use a pepper grinder rather than leave the pepper on the table. Gives the staff a chance to bond with the clients and milk the tips. There were a lot of staff, sort of like a casting call for the Matrix. I would recommend it to anybody. Skip the fries and make reservations like I did I think bread was complimentary. Usually, there is a surcharge. Looked to be an excellent selection of wines and liquor but I stuck to water. I was taxying. I suppose I should mail them a peppermill. A lot of attention to detail went into this restaurant.More

Don't let the outside put you off, it is by no means pretty to look at, but the food was excellent, the staff very welcoming. They serve very nice gin & tonic, cocktails and Crystal lager, so we were happy!, The wine list is also...good. Again lot's of fresh seafood/fish on the menu, chicken, pork, beef ,both traditional Cuban food & Mediterranean dishes are available. We had yet another great night here, we were staying at the Hotel Melia Cohiba, which is just across the road, so a very quick walk across the road and your there.A lovely warm breeze from the sea here, so it is always nice & refreshing after a day in the hot sun. A great place to relax and enjoy a drink and great food, would definitely recommend this restaurant.AMore
