This place is just great! Very American/ European with a splash of Cuba all right in Havana. The service is great, the staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is relaxing and the food is just great. They have, croissants, frappes, capuchinos, reg coffee, cold coffee, eggs...More

Thanks, Sulvy, I loved your metaphor of a American/European Cafe with "a splash" of Cuba, that's exactly the look we are trying for and it seems we have succeeded. As for internet in Cuban cafes, we strongly agree. This proposal has been on the country's...More

I visited Habana in August 2018, this was by far my favorite place to eat at. Those complaining about food shortage, items not being available, and ""long wait"" times, should've read a bit an educated themselves about the country they were visiting beforehand. THE MOST...More

Thanks Claudia, The food shortage is country-wide and is slowly being addressed. We have hired additional servers and wait times have generally been eliminated. We sometimes do get busy, sorry, but we believe that is a sign that we are a "most amazing place" and...More

Thanks, Nadamis, We have worked very hard on maintaining the high performance level of our staff. We have training sessions, foreign language instruction, employee incentive programs, and of course occasional "office parties." Many of these ideas are unique to Cuba, but expected by tourists. We...More

We stayed right down the street from this cafe. Our host, Julio, brought us here first thing, he said it was the best coffee in town. He was right! We went twice. Had the light “cafe blanco” then the the dark one the next day...More

Thanks, Tulsa, I think you are the first person to acknowledge our collection of Starbucks mugs. We really collected them from customers from around the world and probably have about 40 countries and cities, from Moscow to Melbourne. Someone suggested we just buy all the...More

Tiny place that makes delicious little breakfasts for almost no money. The decor looks like a rummage sale at an old Hollywood star's house. Eat here and you will not be disappointed.

Thanks JSCooper, What a nice, concise description of Cafe Arcangel. We like to think we are UNIQUE instead of "weird", and our breakfasts are AFFORDABLE, rather than "almost no money." But you definitely have a fine way with words and we greatly appreciate your compliment.
