I've been living in La Habana for six months now and drink beer is something that I do A LOT! Unfortunately finding a cold beer is not easy, actually is very hard. In Esencia I'd the coldest beer in Cuba, dressed as a bride, as...one may called, with ice on the bottle. We had over 30 beers on the night and almost all of them were like this. The atmosphere is really nice, good music and to go with the beer there was an incredible Jamon serving! Great place overall! Will certainly come back.More

We were there on a Wednesday night when most of the famous night places were closed.The atmosphere was nice diverse music at first then only Cuban reggueton ( even there were lot of internationals there). The pub is little so no much room to dance,...The prices & drinks were acceptable,but there was something which ruined our night. When seeing the check we have noticed that they charged us extra drinks we didn;t order. When asking the waitress she became really annoyed blaming us we are not willing to pay and she will be charged for the extra drinks. We were all sober so we got pissed off also by the situation. In order to avoid the fight go on we paid the extra drinks no consumed and swear never going back. So be careful with this - there are also unknown people going to bar and asking for drinks into your account !!!!More

My cousins recommended this place and we loved it. The old Cuban memorabilia, the drinks, lots of food options and the best music. Great ambience. Recommend 100% safer and fun alternative to big clubs.
If I was 20 years younger, no, make that 30 years younger, I would have enjoyed this more. At this point I would tell you this is just a club where you go to see and be seen. Bear in mind this is Cuba. Everyone...is supposed to be equal. But in this club it is obvious that some locals are more equal than others. Dressed to the nines with the latest cell phones and air kisses all around. If you are a person who is into the club scene, this is the place for you. We were a group of four couples, all in their 50's and 60's who were here because, well, our host/guide wanted us to see it. We sat in the bar which became increasingly crowded as we sipped our mojitos and cuba libres. But I was happy to leave so the real party goers could get their drunk on.More
Well, because it is close to where i stay i suppose. Friday Happy Hour is packed! All of Havana shows up it seems. Great fun. Other nights it has just been me. They do have a wee bit of consistency issues in the kitchen (it...was good every time but... ) three times in one week i had carpaccio, three different plates, garnishes, and how the parmesan was sliced/grated. Wont stop me from going back.More
A great place to listen to music, isn't a site of dancing, but you can dance. To eat have "tapas". A great service. Very friendly. It was a house, it's a beautiful place, with high ceilings and maintains much of what was in the home.
It is a bar restaurant located at Vedado neighborhood in Havana. They have very nice daiquiris and mojitos (just for 2.95 cuc) and an excellent well decorated place. Fridays they offer a "happy hour" option, were the drinks cost the half of the original price...between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. The prices of the food are superior to 8 cuc for main dishes. This place has always captivated me for the attention, drinks and decor. It's an almost general opinion that's the bar with the most populated list of drinks in their chart and have the best bartenders ever. I'll never get tiered of it.
Had a GREAT time there, service was good, music was loud but not too loud and the local named Roberto, a retired Cuban American attorney from Miami now living there did a GREAT job with Sinatra's - I did it MY WAY!!!

I love this place. Very cool renovation of an old house. Multiple seating areas and a cozy bar with great video music, well priced drinks, and tasty food.
We went for a evening billed as a gay party. The is a beautiful Spanish style home converted to bar and Cafe. Decor is excellent. We were only there in the evening, it was packed with a good cross section of people. The music and...the drag show excellent. The cocktails and selection of drinks was very good, the wait staff efficient and prompt. We had a spectacular time! The crowd was stylish, very friendly, was mostly Cuban with only a few tourists! We will certainly be back.More

This is a gorgeous bar with fun music and fantastic huge drinks in Havana. Everything is well made and professionally executed. A great new find!
