Disregard the surroundings, as you should with most places in Havana: appearances can be deceptive. In a seemingly industrial area is a gem of a restaurant with creative cuisine, excellent service and a cool, modern vibe. Nothing to criticize and lots to like, including an...More

Stopped by after dinner for drinks. Were told that no tables were available and had to wait 30 minutes. However we waited only 5 minutes and a table became available. Drinks were not too badly priced because we had domestic brands. With the dim lighting...More

Visited for my second time this new years eve. There was a serious mix up with their reservation and told our party that they had no record of our reservation, even though we had email exchanges that I showed them confirmed the reservation. The hostess...More

Warning! While the food is quite nice, the drinks are excessively expensive. Prices are not displayed and the service staff charms you into ordering today's special drink, only to charge you 10 CUC per drink at the end with no prior warning. We left feeling...More

El Cocinero is an upscale restaurant in Vedado with elegant food and services and prices to match. Reservations are a must. Stay away from the wine list which is overpriced, but the food is excellent.

We went here as part of a tour that included the Tropicana show. Food was ok. We couldn’t order from the menu and the set menu was just ok. Ambiance was great and staff was friendly and fast.

Hard to say. It isn't in a house but an old industrial bldg with smokestack. Food was not great, pulpi inefibke. Try Dona blanquetta on Prada. Great lobster. Also cocinero is a 20 minute taxi ride out of old Havana. Enjoy
