We ended up a la Catedral because we wanted to dine before going to la Fabrica de Arte Cubano. At the beginning they were really nice and they proposed us to wait to get a table in the terrace (inside it was too cold because...of the AC). From there on it was a disaster... the food wasn’t good and the service really poor.More

Plates look not so bad, but the quality of the ingredients is really poor. It's not expensive, but almost all the food in the plate comes straight from a can!

This restaurant is definitely off the beaten path but what a great find. The food is very good and the prices are as low as I have seen in the two weeks we have been here in Havana. Located in Vedado near the Hotel Cohiba...we have been a number of times. The prices are excellent enough at dinner but even 20% cheaper at lunch. And breakfast at $5. Pretty hard to beat. We actually were staying within walking distance but I assure you it is worth the price of a taxi to bring you from pretty much anywhere in Havana.More

This is a great family restaurant. Lots of choices and very fun environment. Prices are very reasonable and there was live music a few nights.

My experience was very satisfactory, the food was fairy good unless my wife´s fish was a little dry. I enjoy a lot my Chilindrón de Chivo, very juicy and soft meat, just a little spicy, I strongly recommend it. Te place was Ok but I...miss a little of soft music like a pianoman or something like that.More

We had a great dinner here -- everyone was pleased with their dishes. I had a lamb dish that was very good, and friends claimed their black beans were the best they ever had. We were a large group and apparently the person who made...our reservation didnot tell them when they reserved that we would need a couple different checks. It turned out to be nearly impossible to have three different checks for our group of 16...so be warned. Nice atmosphere and almost all Cuban families eating here! We'd go back!More

This restaurant was highly recommended by several friends but on both visits, it disappointed in several ways. On our first visit, one of the main dishes was inedible and was returned but they still billed it. Despite this, we went again at the request of...friends. This time one of the desserts was mouldy - fortunately this time they did not include it on the bill. In both meals, the quality of the other dishes was mixed: some were good, others were unremarkable. Apart from that, the service was generally good, the setting itself is great and we enjoyed the live music.More

This was a great find as we wandered the barrio. The food was delicious, the portions huge and the service was excellent. Best of all, the prices and flavors were the best we found in Havana. It has relatively few tourists and is mainly filled...with Cubans.More

A restaurant a bit off the Main Streets but well worth the effort. Cuban and international food options at reasonable prices with some delicious dishes including the Serrano Ham focaccia and Ropa Vieja. This restaurant also takes credit cards (not seen often on our trip)....Didn’t not attempt our US credit cards however.More

I am so sorry for this late review but I was at this gem of a restaurant with a few friends and listen to me the best service ever we all work in the service industry back at home and the servers there are incredible...Especially Jorge. The first day we arrived he made my group feeled very welcomed and offered to assist us we spoke very little Spanish he made it his duty to ensure we were offered nothing but the best service even though language was a barrier for us. Thank you Jorge hopefully we return to Cuba and la catedral real soon.More
