Pastries are not a strong point in Cuban cuisine. Ordered slices of cake as an afternoon snack, at least were priced in line with the quality. If you really need an afternoon pick-me-up, I'd suggest ice cream instead.

The first time I entered it was empty, for us it is srano that in a pastry there is nothing ... but I came back and I bought a very good puff pastry dolcetto and a specie of cheese muffin .... excellent

Visited Panaderia San Jose a couple of times during our stay in Havana. Baked goods were delicious, and outrageously cheap. A great place to stop and pick up snacks/ a quick lunch while exploring Havana.

Walking around, we found this place, really nice, and we took a sit on the terrace, super tasting cakes and sweetness, definitely recommend for a break or a breakfast in morning.

We wandered into the Panaderia in need of sustenance and planning to buy a bun of some sort and noticed that there was a restaurant upstairs. Using the buns from the downstairs panadaria they make some basic sandwiches, which they grill panning style. They didn't...More

The desserts look great, but the sanitation procedures are null. Cute spot, great location and nice patio makes for a perfect spot to stop for a coffee and baked item. Unfortunate part was watching the gal behind the counter 'washing' my cup in a pail...More

A cheap place in the middle of the most expensive area with great pastries. Worth the big line and the time.

We stopped here a couple of times to get a "pick me up" baked item or something for a VERY early bite to eat before we headed to the airport the day of our departure. We never passed this bakery without a line out the...More

Very reasonable priced baked treats. There is always a line to the place and the baked good keep rotating as they are freshly made.
