In this restaurante you can enjoy a nice dinner. You can taste some very original flavours due the way they use to cook. Also, it is look like very original and it is very well located, due it is part of Habala Libre hotel.

Dear Franklin Thank you for your time and comments. We appreciate you enjoyed the dinner at the Polinesio Restaurant its is really a very unique place.
Located in La Rampa, very good restaurant with reasonable prices.Food is good and tasy. They got special offers, for example for 15CUC you can have a meal with dessert and two drinks included.Recomended.
Well, to be honest the dishes seem closer to Cuban food than Polinesian. Still the quality of the food was very good and the service was very nice. If you are eating, you can get a seat near the window with a nice view. When...only coming for the drinks, however you are seated in a darker corner of the restaurant with no view.More
I visited that restaurant because I went there many years ago, I wanted to taste the fried rice. It was so bad, almost no ingredients inside. The palce was very clean, beautifull. And it was good for watching game in TV, but foodddd noooo
Nice place and ambience. Fair price for food and wait time is ok as well. Good welcoming servers and they speak english as well. I ate the fried rice and it is good plus the fried chicken is ok too. My girlfriend had a good...timeMore
For the location and knowing that iit was a Buffet style not enough opitions. There are beter places in Havana. The service was very good and warm
This was a different kind of restaurant from the paladares that we spent most of our time in on the trip! I agree with the reviewer that it was like a Trader Vic's, with Tiki gods and all that stuff. You could see the big...ovens they smoke the meat in. I ordered some kind of combo meal which seemed like a good deal. It came with a couple of oriental appetizers and the main course was smoked chicken. It came out nearly black, but was tasty (maybe a little overcooked, but I like it that way). The fried rice that came with was really good. The meal also came with ice cream for dessert, but service was so slow that we didn't really have time to stay. It was an interesting and fun experience.More
OMG it was Trader Vic's! The décor has not changed a bit in the ensuing almost 60 years! It was sad to see so few diners the night we are at Polinesio, especially given the 1 CUC happy hour that goes from 4 PM to...8 PM. Anyway. the food was all delicious, and the servings while generous were not overwhelming .... except for the soup bowls that were enormous. 6 of us ate for under 70 CUC total. Given the equality of the food and the kitchyness of the décor, this was a great place to eat!More
So happy so much of this place is still intact & the staff really care about the place!! Oswaldo is the 3rd generation of bartenders to work here, like his father & grand father. They do well with what they have (they cannot get many...of the ingredients for tiki drinks...) & they care. Happy Hour is a steal - $1 for Havana Club Mojitos! That's not why we went, but sure was a nice surprise. & the place can get very smokyMore
When I came to the restaurant the air aconditioning was broke. Also the menu is very short and the food quality was poor.
I had great drinks at this Tiki bar. For a moment I thought I'd walked into Trader Vic's. It has a happy hour from 4/5 until 8 pm. The food was OK but I think I would come here for pre-dinner cocktails.
My husband, niece and I stopped in to this restaurant while downtown and at first, I couldn't see my hand in front of my face but after my eyes adjusted to the dark, I was able to see the "Polynesian" decor. Kinda tacky but nice...after being out in the extreme heat of the July heatwave in Havana. The service was awesome and the Mojitos very tasty. We really enjoyed our dumplings and house fried rice. Everything was very delicious. There was a power outage (Cuban norm) and it was still business as usual once they got their generator going. I would certainly go back as the food was good and the price was acceptable.More
Set within the Havana Libre hotel - was a Hilton before the Revolution. Since which time nothing has changed in the hotel. Decor is typical 1960's Cornish fishing shack style and rather dim so get a window seat. Music also can be loud. However there...are two big log smokers in which they do their own smoked gammon and chicken. I had local smoked gammon elsewhere and it was quite a delightful revelation. Food and service good but I thought not good value compared with others nearby. I chose the most expensive options as my last night meal and at 30GBP it was not good value They were very helpful in making a 'special' for my vegan friend.More
Despite the intriguing decoration and space, I found this restaurant not really worthwhile to go if you're staying in Havana for a few days only. There are other places with better food, service and location..
Mild in taste, excellent in service, the food is just about average - bad point: air conditioning is cruelly cold!
