The food was very good, not excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful. This is truly a paladar, a house that has been turned into a restaurant. You can look into the kitchen to watch them cook. As you go into the back to the restrooms, you...pass the bedroom of the house. A cultural find.More

The small, cozy terrace caught our eyes walking along Paseo del Prado one night. We had to try the restaurant out, and we just fell in love with the place. Nice and friendly service, excellent food, and very agreeable prices made us reserve a table...for another night right away. There are only two tables with a good view over the Prado, so we recommend a booking in advance. Enjoy your stay. We know you will!More

Upstairs without much external advertising. Persevere! Pleasant terrace, nice décor. Attentive informative staff. Varied menu. Fresh prawns in the paella. Not overhyped and touristy. VFM.

Very good restaurant in La Habana. We loved the food and the service was also great. Excellent view of Paseo del Prado and also good mojitos. We went there 3 times during our stay in Cuba!

Arrived for lunch, selected a nice seat overlooking the boulevard, lovely spot, clean, ordered the Fajita plate which was served quickly and hot. Great service in a pleasant atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Will look forward to a retun visit.

This restaurant is situated upstairs in a home on Prado. We visited this as this was the closest to where we were staying. Food was the tastiest we had during our visit to Cuba. Reasonable price. Friendly service.Creole fish dish was excellent.

The restaurant is upstairs with a terrace. Blanquita was a merchant marine, traveled all over the world, and her restaurant is filled with treasures.

I think this paladare has been around for a while. It is modest in size and truly in someones house. The decor is vibrant and eclectic. We enjoyed a delicious Cuban style dinner with some creative touches while overlooking the Prado from our balcony table...The service was very attentive the prices were reasonable (6 to 8 pesos). All said an enjoyable experience. We will return.More

This paladar was recommended by the casa owner who said she only refers people to places she has actually eaten in. It may be because after the hurricane there were few tourists about. I passed it again on the week end and there were lights...on so it may have been open. If you are going to travel to get here then it may be advisable to check beforehand.More

We wanted to try an authentic paladar restaurant allowed in Cuban homes since 1996 by the communist government. This one is located along the popular central promenade walking area, and we decided to give it a try. You enter on the street and climb stairs,...passing what appear to be the residential rooms, until you reach the restaurant area on a prime upper floor with a terrace and balcony. Obviously family owned and operated, it was a positive experience for us. Suggestion to owners of this and other restaurants, if they ever read this: When there are no customers along the outer balcony area, have the staff sit at those tables. looking like they are having a great time. Most tourists will not be the first to try a place, and, in fact, other tourists did arrive after we sat along the railing and ordered food and beers.More
