Located on San Rafael, this place is hard to miss on the street. What sets it apart is the vintage decorations in the restaurant. Even though we had a reservation we waited for 45 min to be seated. You get to meet the owner of the restaurant while waiting for your food. For starter: recommended dish is the larger sharing... More

Came here with a group, and we had the suggested appetizer which comes with olives, eggplant ceviche, spanish omelette, cheeses, smoked salmon, etc. The drinks were excellent (pina colada), and our main courses were delicious. I had the grilled lobster, which was tender and juicy. The sides were also very tasty. Our waiter was very attentive, and even brought out... More

Owner/chef was charming, engaging, full of personality and his staff were all highly attentive. Convivial warm atmosphere in unique and interesting setting down a typically decaying Havana street. Probably the best lunch we had in Havana.

Our group had lunch at San Cristobal which was very festive. Excellent service many courses that were delicious and interesting. Best mojitos in Havana and beautiful and eclectic home in an old Havana building. Don't miss this.

This was our choice for dinner on the last night in Cuba. What an experience. It was a large group but was so attentive. We had shot of an old rum to start things off. I had the lobster entree which was very good. They brought the food out quickly. The appetizers were delicious. At the end of the dinner,... More

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Havana. The waitstaff made my friends and I feel like queens. The food was incredible! It's expensive for Havana, but not for any major US city. Absolutely do not miss the opportunity to eat here.

The food was good, and by comparison to the other restaurants we ate at, it was very good. But to be honest, it wasn't noticeably better than food we had at a couple of other places... We had also reserved about 6 months in advance, reconfirmed about 2.5 weeks prior to the trip, and yet they didn't have our reservation,... More

A GEM. In a city where the food (poor ingredients) leaves much to be desired, Cristobal was the best meal we had. Ranks with world class dining experiences. Eccentric and friendly with retro charm. We were in a group (for lunch) so I got to taste many dishes: lobster, lamb, all excellent. Owner/chef Carlos Cristóbal Márquez Valdés and his excellent... More

We came here to celebrate a birthday and it was one of the best experiences! The food was good, but the service is what sealed the experience. Our Waiter was just superb. You will not be disappointed if you come here for a great night.
