Great food and super staff and ownership. This was a special meal. We liked the lobster. You can't go wrong with a dinner here.

The decor here is really interesting (Catholic kitsch). There was a line for the (reportedly quite nice) ladies' room, so I got to use the men's. "Interesting" decor in there as well. Anyway, the food was spectacular: tapas for appetizers (probably about 12 kinds; can't even remember them all), and then lobster for the main course. This lobster wasn't overcooked... More

We made a reservation at San Cristobal a few months before going to Cuba. Simply because of awesome reviews. There were 8 of us and we'd eaten in a couple of places already and thought we knew what to expect. We were met at the door by a friendly guy called Gustavo who seated us in a private room known... Our entire experience here was tremendous and I would highly recommend going when you are in Habana. The food was incredible - the chef has traveled around the world before coming back to Cuba to open his restaurant - and the service and staff were the best! Definitely worth a visit! We did make a reservation ahead of time which... More

We tried eating here three times. The first time we showed up on a Sunday. They were closed. To be fair their sign said they were closed - lonely planet was wrong and needs updated. We went another day around noon. We had a good meal. Some excellent lobster (but I had even better in Trinidad). They gave us each... More

After a long journey from New York, my tour guide, Gabriel of Cuba305Travel, escorted me to dinner at this exquisite paladar in central Havana. I must tell you, upon arrival you are greeted at the door, as if you were arriving home! The rooms are immaculately decorated with all manner of different clocks and chandeliers and old celebrity photos. Did... More

Excellent varied menu and superb service. Great ambience, interesting decor and toilet seats in the toilet (once you have been to Havana you will know what I mean). Don't trust google maps for the location as it sent me further up the road than needed.
