Good food, lovely ambience

This restaurant has nothing to do with Vietnamese cuisine, but it will serve you a range of Cuban dishes at a very very reasonable price. The courtyard dining area was lovely and was a little piece of calm heaven from the bustling life on the streets. As in most places there were a group of... read more

Hanoi is confusing...this is not any sort of South East Asian place but a good little Cuban restaurant which happened to be very near our casa. We were at the end of our trip, our guide had gone and we were left on our own to suss out an eaterie. This one was both in our tour notes and in... More

Food was pretty good. But when the bill comes directly with a tip of an equivalent of 3.50€ included in it ... Even if you wanted to leave a tip, now you don't, but they force you to!

The only thing Vietnamese about the Hanoi restaurant in Havana Vieja is the name. Otherwise, it is about as Cuban as you can get: Cuban food, Cuban beverages and a Cuban band playing Cuban music (that's if 'Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps' qualifies as a Cuban song). Started with a mojito, of course. The waiter said that they make the best Mojitos... More

I highly recommend this restaurant. The group of seven of us were seated promptly, thanks to our local translator. I had the special, which that day included fish, shrimp, and lobster. The fish wasn't the most attractive part of the plate, but it was perhaps the most delicious. It was light and flaky. The rest of the seafood was nearly... More

Hanoi has typical Cuban service that's as slow as a one-legged dog on tranquilisers, but that's pretty much the same everywhere so don't worry about it. Considering its location in the centre of the tourist hub, this place's value makes it stand apart. Mojitos for a couple of CUC and main meals for not that much more make this a... More

We visited Hanoi on a whim and loved it! The food was really good and the drinks were great. This place is kind of tucked away but worth taking the time to find it. We'd definitely go back.

Hanoi Casa de la Parra is a little gem that you would usually go via recommendation... Not the most attractive place but the service is great, food above average and an excellent price. As far as Cuban cooking can be rated one of the better places to eat. As far as Cuban bars can be rated, excellent prices for very... More

Highly recommend you check this place out, it's full of fantastic local dishes at quite affordable prices. We had a really delicious meal and a couple drinks each for about 30cuc. The service was quite excellent. There was a local band who played but didn't ask for any donations after their songs (which was a nice surprise!). Overall a really... More
