Probably the best meals we had in Cuba were at this lovely establishment. The decor, ambience and service was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious. I ate ropa vieja twice here because it was so good. My wife tried the masas de cerdo frito that was great. Also, the tres leches cake is sinfully delish. My only regret was not finding this place sooner.

Nice place, with good quality food, friendly people. Very interesting option in the area. Only one perhaps negative comment, more for the restaurant than for the customers: The willingness to provide quick service makes them insist on taking the dishes constantly, before the customer's wish is indicated. It is not necessary to insist so much on that side.

The place is amazing, great decoration with lots of identity and originality. The food is amazing, totally recommend the Thermidor Lobster and the Apple Lomito. Great prices and even better service... and the top was the music selection, a playlist entirely cuban, mixing old and new songs, that make the dinner experience entirely unique.

The spot is beautiful and the food, not cheap but tasty. However, reservations is a lottery. You may make a reservation at a certain day/time/place, and this can be respected o not. It is not 100% sure.
We had made a reservation 2 days in advance for a table in order to attend a live music event with dinner, and we found at arrival that the reservation had not been respected: instead of a table we had to stand in a corner and wait to be lucky for (maybe later) a table.

A relatively new restaurant, located in Kohly, a very good area of Havana. Every day Cafetalex offers a varied menu with very good offers and better prices
Very nice atmosphere, friendly service. It offers an excellent meal with fresh products of the day and ingredients of first quality, tapas, cocktails, pleasant atmosphere and very well selected cuban music. Recommendable to share with family and friends

This place was such a little gem. I’m a Cuban native and I can attest to the fact that Cuban food has suffered a lot due to the lack of people being able to find the right ingredients to make the traditional delicious meals. The food here was simply amazing. We ate here several times, breakfast, lunch and dinner and it was always good. The flavors and combinations were refreshing because they do have a lot of the traditional Cuban dishes but they also have a lot of other non traditional choices and it was great trying them out. The place is cozy and nicely decorated and the service was good. Ambiance at night is awesome. On the porch they have nice lighting and good music to accompany the good food. I can’t wait for my next trip to definitely pay them another visit.

Cafetalex is a relatively new restaurant with a short menu but with very good offers and better prices. The service is very friendly, attentive and non-invasive, something that is very common in many Havana restaurants.

Great paella, excellent Mediterranean Salad, refreshing cocktails, honestly think that any pic from the menu will satisfy those visiting this hidden gem in Havana. Really attentive staff. Definitely be back soon.
