Choosing this venue opens up a new horizon on dining out. You will need a doggy bag the size of a rucksack when you visit here. Good choice on the menu, excellent value for money, but if you intend to dine after 7pm you may have to wait quite a while to get in. Tip is to go early.

The quality and quantity of food served in any of the 3 restaurants is fabulous. The service is slow so don't be in a hurry or trying to meet a schedule when you go there. I go to Los Nardos several times during each Havana visit and have always been very pleased. If you want to go to the upstairs... More

We ate at Los Nardos twice while in La Habana last week. Advice: Eat downstairs only. Pros: Great local food, nice variety, reasonably priced. Attentive service. Cons: The waiters are not bilingual. You'll need a little Spanish to really enjoy the experience. When I unleashed my survivor Spanish, the waiters were quite friendly. I watched their interaction with other "english... More

We came here on our first night in Havana as it was recommended by our guide book and was very close to our hotel. The place is on the second floor and air-conditioned, which is nice in the summer when it is very hot outside. At the same time it is a rather dark place, so the atmosphere wasn't amazing.... More

I was impressed both by the cosy interior of the restaurant and increadibly good local food! It has a very nice interior, but most of all very tasty and really big Cuban meals and drinks. Also the service was very nice and friendly.

The portion sizes were huge, the food was cheap. We didn't have to queue too long and the restaurant had a good atmosphere and ambiance. We loved every little thing until the end. We know first hand, having travelled around all of Cuba and been to many restaurants that there is no tax added onto food bills, nor is service.... More

Just across the street from the capitolio, this traditional restaurant offers many tasty dishes, like Lamb Chilindron, fried chickpeas. Seafood is good, too. As in most places in Cuba, beef shouldn't is not the best option. The place is well decorated, though too dark for some.

Found this restaurant while sight seeing in Havana. The prices and portions are very good and they offer a wide variety of dishes. The atmosphere is really nice and service was great.
