The place itself is stylish, waitresses are very kind and always willing to help. The food is amazing. Spaghetti Carbonara is one of the best dishes. All in all is a very good place to spend some time having amazing dishes. The only thing is...not very improved is the furniture especially tables.More

Felt very much like dining in a fast food restaurant. The food and service were good, however with so many other options in Havana with a real Cuban atmosphere it would not be on the top of my list.

If you are gong to eat in Havana check out this restaurant. It was amazing. It's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The salads are huge, the prices are fair, the drinks are good, the service is wonderful and the food is excellent. If you...like mikshakes try one here. We had a chocolate shake and the real chocolate taste was amazing. The owner stands at the door and great everyone (we were there twice over the Christmas/New Year's holidays and each time he was wearing a different holiday hat). The restaurant is extremely clean and is located just off of the old city. Try it. You will not be disappointed. .More

Go for drinks, not food. And don’t take it personally that the waitresses don’t care. They’re hired for looks, not hospitality. Bad service, cheap drinks. Eh..

Yesterday I went to this restaurant. I asked the bill at the end and they came with fake money on change. Please be careful. I sent a message and they didn't respond.

We have visited D’Next many times in 2017, March 2019 and November 2019 We came upon D’ next after spending the day at Santa Maria del Mar back in 2017 and needed some hot tea. We were delighted that they served Hot tea, my husband...had Frappuccino and we both had a dessert. We were hooked and actually went back for dinner that night and asked to meet the owner Reinier Ruiz Lopez. We told him how impressed we were by the very cold bottled Bucanero, the hot Tea, thin crust Pizza, the lovely decor, friendly staff and the fun vibes. He even told us he was planning on opening a D'next in South Africa. A few days ago we went to eat dinner and was extremely disappointed by the chicken and beef burger we received, we told our server that the chicken and beef burger was raw and she pretended not to understand us. We even open the burger bread and showed her the raw chicken and bloody beef burger. We both got food poisoning that was the result of eating undercooked meat. Thankfully we only had one bite and each vomited once. This could have been worst. My husband even told the server in Spanish and still she pretended not to understand him. She quickly moved the two plates from the table. We asked to speak to a manager, the manager Gabriel Garcia Arenal came by a few minutes later. What was disappointing was the manager attitude when we were explaining to him about the raw chicken and raw burger meat. He also pretended not to understand what I was saying and when my husband translate to Spanish he still didn’t acknowledge what he said and had no apologies or didn’t offer to replace the food or take it off our bill. We did order cheese balls and beers before our burger and chicken sandwich came. Seems like the servers are trained to act like they don’t understand when a customer is complaining about the food. And it bothers me that the manager on duty would do the same and have no understanding towards his customers food complains. It would be wonderful if you can TRAIN your staff. The managers need to offer proper training techniques to the staff, so customers will not get sick. Please Cook chicken and beef at the right temperatures and have a meat thermometer in the kitchen and show the staff how to use and read it. Food safety is very important. Your kitchen staff should know the guidelines. Chicken needs to be cooked to 165°F, ground beef to a temperature of 155°F This is to prevent E-coli, which is found in ground beef and accounts for many cases of foodborne illness. Any type of meat being prepared and cooked in a commercial kitchen should be checked with a meat thermometer for proper temperature. For different types of meat, you should use different meat thermometers. We paid our bill and walked out. We will not return to to D`next and would much rather walk over to Venami, it’s a cozy little restaurant that is charming and everyone makes you feel very comfortable and loved.
