We finally made it to this bar at the end of our month-long trip and I wish we'd have come earlier as it's a great hangout. Earlier in our stay we drove by one Sunday night and saw mobs of people outside with drinks and...wondered what it was all about. We came in early, in the afternoon in an irritable mood due to a scheduling conflict with an excursion and needed a drink, and the waitress was sitting at a table outside as nobody was yet in the bar. After taking our drink order we mentioned the snafu and she seemed genuinely interested in hearing about it. She then smiled and said, yes, that's Bonaire and that we should just relax and get on island time. After bringing us our drinks (Caipirinha's, which did the trick!) she then sat down and chatted with us until another staff member arrived and joined in the conversation. We were on our second round of drinks as he was sharing tales of his one month trek with his girlfriend in Central America, and by this time had completely forgotten about our missed excursion. The crowd began arriving and I had one more drink before we headed off to a restaurant recommended by the waitress. On our next visit we will definitely make this a regular stop on our treks into Kralendijk.More
