My husband and I visited La Guernica twice in July 2016 during our one week stay on Bonaire. The hostess was very friendly, attentive and service-minded. We had the tuna and wahoo served with rice and a fresh mixed salad. We enjoyed our perfectly cooked meals sitting under the fanned pergola watching the strange parade of locals in their cars... When we arrived the warm welcome was the start of a great evening. The restaurant is located right by the water in kralendijk. Nice terrace close to other happening places in Kralendijk. Romantic. Place was pretty busy but food came on time. Had a variety of tapas and fish. In one word: great!

My husband, son and I recently had an excellent meal here in July. We had appetizers, which were quite delicious and we each had the shrimp tempura which was fabulous! Being from the South, we love our fried shrimp and this did not disappoint!! We also had the house made sangria which I thought was the best sangria I have... More

Enjoyed a nice dinner of tapas and sangria. Restaurant located downtown on the seafront. Mainly Spanish cuisine. charming old building.

Visited Bonaire for 4 days and ate twice at your restaurant!! Have to complement the restaurant for their great food and service. We ordered the Deep fried whole red snapper and some tapas, my friend loved the fish and they did a good job on the tapas to!! Servers are all Dutch except for one Columbian lady, they all did... we always try to get here to sample the tapas. the white house wines and about 5 tapas seem to be enough. all tables are outside, many uncovered. we try to get a table on the side street as some nights the traffic can be very annoying.

The staffels friendly. We tried seven tapas. They were all good. You have to try them. For two, it was to much.

There are fancier restaurants in Bonaire, but if you love flavors to dream about, this was the place for us! We started with Sangria which was nice. We ordered some tapas: grilled shrimp & garlic-yum, portobello mushroom-amazing, then Mediterranean veggies -better the first time as the recipe changed the next day. Our host Marta was a delight as she helped... More

This is one of our favorites on Bonaire. The food is really good, but the atmosphere seals the deal. Plenty of outside tables to enjoy the evening. The staff is great, and make it all the more reason to dine here.
