Breads and sweets were fresh and light. Everything we had there was delicious. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend it to anyone. Fresh bread for sandwiches or toast was also wonderful.

Most delicious breads and pastries! Purchased the raisin bread, apple strudel, whole grain bread, raspberry pastries & finally croissants. Too much to only choose one thing!
I've heard of it but finally found the bakery! Not that hard to find either. So many beautifully baked items. Early in the morning is best - and you can order the night before if you want to guarantee your items will be there. They...supply the best restaurants with baked goods and it is easy to see why.More
The best spot on the island to get your daily fix of bread, I don't buy it anywhere else anymore. It's freshly baked every day as well so can't go wrong.
We found this small bakery when driving through town. They have a wide variety of pastries and bread available wrapped up and ready to buy. We had both the small raspberry pastry and chocolate croissants which were both excellent. They were still flaky and delicious...hours later on the plane and were a cut above those we have back home in NYC!More
Went there a few times while on the island. I always ordered online the night before. After a few day, they knew me and gave me my bag of goodies I ordered. Highly recommend the croissants and the raisin bread. We did not like the...sugar loaf like everyone else. If they have the pizza like snack, try it! We bought them a lot lot, perfect for the day out at he beach. We could to order that online. The only downside is, that it is not located in Kralendijk.More
We literally stumbled onto this amazing local bakery because we were lost. The staff was so pleasant and helpful in guiding us in the right direction. Happily, the aromas along with the varieties of breads and cakes took center stage. We bought yummy apple pies...and fresh bread. It’s worth the trip if you’re doing a day tour of the island.More
Worth the drive to the bakery. They sell out early, so be sure to get there in the morning. The onion cheese bread and Oliebollen were so good. They don't speak English just a heads up.
My husband went here at least 4 times during our week in Bonaire. Everything he purchased was delicious. As other reviews have stated, we took multiple items home with us in our carry on luggage. If you can find it, it's a must!
The cinnamon bread was so good a loaf came back home with us in a backpack. If that isn't an endorsement, nothing is! Regular bread was very good, muffins were more like cake and there doesn't seem to be anything "Dutch" about this bakery, but...look for those loves in the foil pans wit the sugar on top and you'll have a great breakfast treat!More
Thank you for your visit and for taking the time to write this review. Really hope to see you back soon in the bakery!
Definitely hard to find like a previous reviewer stated- it’s in a residential area and easy to feel like you’re lost getting there but we asked buddy dive Belmar shop before we went (we’re staying in a house next door) and they happily doted it...on our map, followed the map and found it. Don’t be afraid to venture out into the non touristy parts of the island- your rewards will be great. So go north past the Kentucky fried chicken (it’s listed on all the tourist maps you can get for feee haha) on Kaya korona, left after the gas station (I think it’s Kaya Amsterdam but there’s a blue major intersection sign to go towards the west coast) and then right on Kaya cacique it’s #16 on the right hand side halfway up the mainly residential street. Went at 8am Yesterday and The bread is fresh and amazing (I think you can get some of their basics at warehouse: white and wheat and maybe rolls-looked similar to the bakeries goods) but getting it straight from the source was the best. First visit went around 11am and were sold out of a lot of stuff We bought the sugar cinnamon aka pan azucar many reviewers are going on and on about and 4 piece bag of panini herb bread aka largo blanco cuatro 7$ total. Second visit 8am we went big... herb panini bread 4 piece, 2 azucar breads (each comes in a tin) , brown muffins (pumpkin spice type cake), white muffins (like pound cake w apple filling) and 6 piece soft white pillowy sandwhich rolls- total was 18.50. The azucar bread would be 8-10$ a pop in us artisan bakery or farmers market easy so I felt it was a great deal for all our treats. Will be going back tomorrow as all the treats & bread are already gone and it’s been a little more than 24 hours. Not speaking good Spanish,Papiamento or Dutch wasn’t that difficult as the counter girls we interacted with were super helpful and friendly and we worked through the language barrier pretty easily with a little crappy Spanish and improve - I’ve even heard Italian and French since we’ve been here so it’s an amazing mish mash of cultures - don’t get frustrated, be patient and polite - everyone on Bonaire tries hard to understand each other:-) if you go early they are still putting breads/treats out so you kinda need to know what you’re looking for- i included pictures of our breads.More
Wow, thank you se much for taking the time to write down this experience. I really hope to see you back in the bakery soon.
This is a little out of the way and can be hard to find, but worth the trip. Open Mon-Sat 6am-noon. However, they never had any pastries while we were there. Their muffins are just so-so. But their bread - especially the cinnamon bread is...wonderful. You can buy their bread at most of the grocery stores, but if you want it fresh, go directly to the bakery.More
Thank you for writing this, we hope you will visit our island soon and to see you back in the bakery.
Very tidy place and good quality. One problem. I do not speak Spanish, the nice lady at the counter only speaks Spanish. We were able to work things out. Very nice cinnamon bread. Yum
Thanks Ernest, my wife by now speaks very well English so please be back for more fresh baked bread soon. Thanks for taking the time to write me a review.
Bought fresh bread a bunch of times there. And they had this kind of loaf that was cinnamon based. I couldn't get enough of it. Really great place and once you know how to get there it's easy to find.
Hi Andy, thanks for your visits and we hope to meet you on your next trip to Bonaire. Thanks for the review.
Real authentic bread. They don't have pastries. But the bread is real real good. The best their is on the island.
