We traditionally go to The Lonestar at least once during a visit to Barbados. This year we took some first-time guests and they (and we) were blown away by the service, the food and the atmosphere. We had a wonderful evening. Thanks!!

Great place to eat, looking out to the beach and sea. Lots of choice for food. Clean, spacious, lovely staff. None of these restaurants are cheap. There is lovely food to choose but expect to pay around £49/59 per head for a set 2 course...More

We eat here with friends. What a great ambience. It was very full and the combination of 'buzzy' atmosphere, and waves beating against the shoreline made for a great ambience. The food menu and drinks choices were good. My scallops starter and mahi mahi main...More

Ate here last night. Everything was good except we waited 45 minutes between starters and mains. When mains eventually came we were deflated and past caring. The bill came to £193 and when paying this kind of money they really should get it correct.

We went along for dinner. The service wasn't very good. The food was OK. This is the restaurant where much missed "Sunday Times" restaurant columnist Michael Winner ate their contaminated oysters which hastened his passing. I have friend who owns a number of great seafood...More

Yes smart shorts are okay for lunch. I have to say I was surprised to see "very" casual dress there, but it is lunch time , dinner time is very different. You will love it there. Wish I was joining you!
