By food and service alone, this restaurant would be one of the best I have every visited. Add in the beach side location, it has an unfair advantage. All restaurants in Barbados seem to be very expensive and this was at the higher end but the quality of food could not be faulted. If I can afford to go to... More

My family and I always eat here at least once every time we come to Barbados. Had lunch today and was extremely disappointed with service, very unwelcoming with mediocre food. We sat down and waited 20 mins for some water, no one asked if we would like a drink, after half an hour we asked if we could order food,... More

We came to the Lone Star restaurant for a 1 o'clock lunch with some friends of friends we had met on the island and we ended up leaving after sunset because we just couldn't tear ourselves away. The reason could have been the delicious food, which we have to confess we only sampled lightly due to our very filling hotel... More

I have visited the Lone Star before on many occasions, but this visit was different. The servers were not very welcoming, not happy and relaxed like previous visits. We had a mixture of food delivered to our table, half liked - half didn't.

This is a wonderful place. However the management need to sort out the overbearing heat problem. It's like eating in a poly tunnel. Massive amounts of fans which just move hot air around. Ate there twice at lunchtime last week and mid week the food was wonderful. Unfortunately Sunday was not. Every cover was taken and it showed in the... More

After five years of visiting Barbados I finally gave in went with my family. Previous reviews had put me off thus my expectations were very low. It was great to be proved wrong. Good food, lovely cocktails and efficient service made this an enjoyable lunch. Caters well for kids too. Really nice experience. And for the haters I went in... More

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Lone Star during our 2 weeks in Barbados. The menu is extensive and portions are generous! There is a good mix of traditional Bajan dishes as well as pizza or a steak sandwich or you can even have a Sunday roast! We were given a beach front table which was great but... More

I would recommend this restaurant very highly, it has a real quality feel that you wouldn't expect from the exterior on the road side. You walk in to am amazing spacious setting, that feels luxury and quality. Service is one of the main features, really friendly and attentive staff. Food was high quality all the way through and there was... More

Love this restaurant. The view is just beautiful, where you are practically dining on the ocean. If you are having lunch, try the Pizza.

Wasn't expecting to enjoy each element of main dish as much but what a treat. We all really enjoyed our meals (just mains do can't comment on starters or desserts). Would return & try other items on the menu.
