If lobster is your thing, then head here. We had lunch (with the most amazing fries ever!) and enjoyed it so much we ate there nearly every day. Succulent, beautifully presented lobster in various sizes depending on your appetite. Right on the beach too -...More

5 of us went here for lunch. The restaurant is right on the beach, very informal and surprisingly small. Conch samosas as a shared starter were absolutely delicious and the mains - 4 lobsters and a catch of the day - were really good quality....More

A treat for providing a couple of my UK friends with free accommodation resulted in them treating me to a meal at Lobster Alive. I'm quite squeamish about dealing with larger shellfish, so it was part therapy, part treat, lol. I made the mistake of...More

Loved this place. Best lobster I've had in the Caribbean. Highly recommend. Do not miss out. Doesn't look like much but when you walk in full service restaurant. If you are not sure you like rock lobster...think again

Always wanted to eat here given my love of seafood. Was not disappointed, but in retrospect, did not need to opt for such a large portion! My partner was pleased with the non crustacean options. Only downside was that we seemed to wait a very...More

Apologies for the late response. The managers have been busy with jackhammers and sawdust for 4 months and have neglected their online duties. Things are finishing up now and we hope to announce our opening date shortly... More

Description
The restaurant initially began as a wholesale distributor for the island's hotels and restaurants. Cooked takeaway service was added; along with a friendly free beer while you wait. Shortly after that the health inspector demanded we go the whole way or "wholesale only". This was around 1998. Long time friend and fellow musician with the local VSOP Jazz band "Stu Jenkins" became the resident artist (designer) and we named the up coming restaurant "LOBSTER ALIVE and all that Jazz". We felt our way; with many of the usual restaurant mistakes. But it seems now, we have scored quite well with international critics, restaurant guide books; and our many repeat customers.
