All the dishes we had were cooked to perfection and the cuisine was delicious. No complaints. All the food in Bermuda is pricey, so expect that going in. Regardless, I would go again and recommend it. We had both lunches and dinner here.
We dined at Jasmine several times during our 11-day stay at the Fairmont in February, and it was always a very pleasant, comfortable, and cozy spot to get a glass of wine, a snack, a pizza, a lunch, or a full meal. Jasmine also provides...service for pool side dining, although in February this service was a little slow (about 30 minutes to place a order and get delivery). Nevertheless, poolside in the sun at 72F was far better than 6F back in Boston.More
Once on a pinnacle of taste, this beautiful lounge with a spectacular view of the South Shore, has unfortunately lost flavour and its distinctive flair, in its most popular eatery and entertainment center, the Jasmine Lounge. The starter should always send a clear message of...excellence in taste and presentation. The pumpkin soup was basic, nothing distinctive here - almost like it came out of a box or tin. Not expected from such a grand hotel like this. The "signature pizza"once graced almost every table so I decided to try it. Sorry, the taste is not there. Is it the bland sauce, I don't know? Having been greeted by a young Bermudian lady with a pleasant smile, we received a table right away and the service started off goo so we had high expectations about the food. We were therefore surprised when the service slipped when it was not so busy. When it got busy, waiters walked right by without even looking or asking if we were pleased or needed anything. No doubt the salt and pepper shakers no longer grace the tables because they disappear. This can be costly to an operation so do like us, just ask for them. My guest had the salmon. Tired. Yes. I tried it, tasteless. The highlight was the hot chocolate fondant . We gave it a perfect score. Overall service: "ATTENTION" needs to improve. "ANTICIPATION" needs to improve: "Would you like extra cheese or chili with your pizza?" That's normal. Ask. If I was in the business, after I have given good service and the guests are pleased with the food, I want my money, plain and simple. We had to wait to pay. How frustrating. The local band was excellent but there needs to be a redesign as they are almost out of the door.More
While the restaurant and lounge itself are great, the afternoon tea was my favourite. It was the perfect thing to do on a rainy day.
The service in general is fast and friendly and the food is also great.
Amazing time at Jasmine while on the beautiful island of Bermuda. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Corey the bartender was an amazing host and bartender, very attentive. Corey was amazing throughout the stay. Def will return due to service
If you want drinks, finger food, desserts then this lounge will suffice. Comfy atmosphere but horrendous service. Here was our experience, it took 23 mins after we sat down before someone took out drink order. We had 3 different waiters in one meal. Appetizers came...bf drinks, when we finished eating our appetizers, no one had took our dinner order yet. We finally got drinks and then placed order and quality of food was awful!! There was only 3 entrees to pick from and the two we tried were awful. Snapper was overcooked and had hard cereal on top, chicken breast with swiss cheese and spinach was bland and salty. Mash potatoes must be out of box it was awful also. 4 star hotel not a chance. Too bad such a nice atmosphere has poor customer service and awful entreesMore
