We rented The Dining Room at the Lighthouse for my mother's 70th birthday celebration. We were focused the entire time around surrounding her with family and close friends versus any lavish gifts or events. We booked a staycation at the Fairmont Southampton and then made...our way to The Dining Room where we hosted 26 for dinner. I worked in advance with Odilio to set a menu based on our price point and preferences. He allowed us to come in early and decorate. His staff that evening were more than accommodating with pictures and also allowing us to dance and play our own music. If you're looking for a venue for a similar type occasion then look no further. The benefit of having an entire restaurant to yourself is priceless and mom was a very happy lady. Thank you Odilio and Staff!More

Perfect for a romantic dinner! Lovely view, especially at sunset. Food was great but make sure you have the toffee pudding ( not sure of the name) dessert. So delicious. Service was a bit slow but I would definitely go back.

When you arrive to a restaurant and are made to feel an inconvenience despite having a reservation it doesn’t start the evening off well. Water poured and another 10 minutes for a beverage order which included white wine to go with dinner (which we stated)...they...then brought the wine and prepared to pour it despite the fact we all had starting cocktails. Would expect a better understanding of order of service. Left with our menus another 15 minutes before they realized we had not been told the specials, one server explained them another came to take our orders. We had three people in and out of our table which added to the confusion and none were able to answer gluten free questions from one of our friends until we asked them to speak to the kitchen. Despite all of this the food as good. Lobster pasta was tender with a light tomato sauce but a very small portion for the hungry eater. Calamari could have been from a food truck and was served with mayo and a ketchup like sauce. Scallops and risotto dish was outstanding and my friend w the beef tenderloin was very happy. Time during the meal we had to ask for water to be refilled, again service let them down. My friends were excited having the creme brûlée which after two conversations we confirmed it was gluten-free and without icing sugar (which has gluten, who knew?). It arrived fully curdled with a scrambled egg consistency and had to be sent back. Not a moment of apology by the waitress and we had to ask her to remove from the bill. Overall a stellar location and potential to be outstanding but some service training is a must.More

We have visited the lighthouse many times for lunch in the past but, this was out first dinner experience. It was a delightful evening with delicious cuisine. Everything is prepared to order & it is a very encompassing menu. From fish to beef to Italian...pastas. The service was a bit “bumpy” with 2 people waiting on you ( a little confused). But, by far one of the best restaurants in Bermuda!More

One of the highlights of my visit to Bermuda was dining at the lighthouse. Warm friendly atmosphere in a fantastic setting . The fresh tuna was the best I've ever tasted beautifully prepared and cooked by chef Ravi and served by excellent waiter Myron who...ensured I had an excellent dining experience. Would highly recommend a visit here and if I am fortunate to return to Bermuda will certainly visit again.More

My wife and I went for dinner in the early evening so we could enjoy the view from the hilltop location. The dining room is located in the base of the lighthouse through a nondescript door. The owner was warm and welcoming. Service was very...good. A lower dining area was suitable for toddlers. The food... we had salad and pasta selections… was average. Recommend calling for reservations as it is a relatively small dining area.More

We all tried something different and almost all of us were not impressed. That’s sad because the setting demands so much more. The restaurant is at the base of the lighthouse (first floor) and very comfortable with a great ambiance. I had the chicken curry...expecting at least some Indian flavors. There were none. My wife had the chickpea “meatloaf” and wasn’t impressed. The lamb was over spiced and over cooked. The pasta sauces were too sweet. In fairness, my daughter and granddaughter (11) liked the Lobster Ravioli. This was one of the more disappointing meals during our 9 day stay.More

We stayed at Fairmont Southampton, and our taxi driver had told us their lunch was good and the gift shop had the cheapest souvenirs around (true and true.) We walked to the lighthouse around 1:30 pm and it was HOT out, so were so glad...to get to the nice AC in the restaurant. Casual attire was ok, and we weren't embarrassed by how sweaty we were from the trek (definitely saw a man wearing jeans so we felt classier than him.) It was a nice change of pace to eat away from the hotel, and since it was almost closing time for lunch at 2:30, we were only two of about 8 total diners there the whole time we were there, so it was nice to have extra attention and not a lot of wait. Seemed like most people arrived mid-hike to get there. We both got excellent fish sandwiches and I believe the waitress said it was snapper that day. Tons of fish, sandwich made with care, and the fries were good, too. If you are planning on seeing the lighthouse, definitely stop here for a delicious, filling meal.More

The dining room seemed small and intimate but I would contact the restaurant, it might if scheduled properly.
