If you are looking for a unique beach front dinner experience, reserve your table at Coconuts! We had dinner on the beach our last night staying in Bermuda and it was memorable.... We arrived at 7:15pm and enjoyed watching the sunset. Tiki torches were lit as the sun set, the ocean breezes were refreshing and we enjoyed the sound of the ocean waves. Thrilled we did this.
The food is great - it was their dinner menu and I enjoyed the grouper special that evening. If you are wondering, there were no bugs, it was not too hot, and the sun was setting behind a cliff, so not too bright. You just kick off your sandals, and enjoy a refreshing drink on the sand while you decide what to order. The wait staff is attentive and did not rush us, so we enjoyed lingering and viewing the night sky and stars. Highly recommend!!!

We stopped in to have an early dinner at Coconuts since we were staying close by. Although we did not have a reservation, the staff made room for us just ahead of the Friday night dinner crowd.
The traditional Bermuda fish chowder, a must-try dish while visiting, was hearty and full of flavor. Our fish & chips dinners were prepared as one would expect, crispy cod and fries.
Unfortunately, while we were trying to eat, a large party waiting for a table moved into the bar. Despite the social distancing protocols, these people crowded us and kept apologizing as they bumped us. The staff should have moved them on to their table rather than allowing them congregate.
If you are looking for a casual ocean-front spot, Coconuts is a great choice. However, it was extremely crowded and difficult to have conversation.

We were visitors from a cruise ship. What a great experience! We ate right on the beach and watch the sky turn beautiful colors. The food was yummy and the $55 per person change was reasonable considering it was in Bermuda. The buses are not very dependable from the dockyard and the taxi was $30 each way. We would go back.

Date night at Coconuts proved to be a night to remember. As frequent visitors to the island we have had our share of amazing views and food in Bermuda. As we ventured to this ocean front restaurant we knew as we were seated that the night was gonna be wonderful. Our server Harni immediately exuded service and it was a complement to the delicious food we ate. My hubby started with their mango cocktail that tasted divine followed by a shared Buddha Bowl. The vinaigrette was perfectly balanced with the arugula, farro and beets. and this meal could be an entree on its own.
We often judge restaurants by their warm bread selection and the medley of choices were a welcome to this hungry diner. Our entrees also hit the spot. I ordered
the Thai Shrimp and my hubby got the rockfish. We split each entree so we could taste the divine and perfectly spicy curry in the Thai dish. I was equally impressed by the pan fried rockfish accompanied by delicious mashed potatoes. When you think there is nothing more you can do with potatoes—Coconuts figured it out with a heavenly mash. The portion sizes were more than adequate and we brought home the leftovers. Although the dessert menu looked enticing we had to pass because our bellies were happy and full. We ended the night watching the moon rise and identifying the stars overlooking the beautiful ocean. A perfect night indeed and a place to return to in the future.

This is a beautiful spot. The restaurant is perched above the beach with great views. The night we were there Tony B was playing guitar and singing. Most of the food was very good, but my partner's entree was overcooked and not palatable. However, the manager was gracious and did the right thing by comping us both meals. The service was average as it appeared that the server was overwhelmed or inexperienced. However, due to the manager's desire to please us, I would give Coconuts another shot.

We tried Coconuts on the first day that it was open in 2023. I was a little leery because it was the first day, but we had no complaints. Our table had a great view of the beach at the Reefs. It looked like parties of 2 got the best views. The service was impeccable, and the food was great. I had the drunken mussels. The mussels were large, and the broth was complex and tasty. The dish did have meat in it though (chorizo), so it's not for vegetarians. I come from New England, so the lobster roll was perhaps not an inspired choice, but that's was I had. The amount of lobster was extremely generous. There wasn't anything exotic about the lobster roll, but it was very good. It was served with the perfect amount of hot, crispy fries. My husband had the fish chowder and fish sandwich. These are dishes he has everywhere in Bermuda. He pronounced the chowder first rate and also enjoyed the sandwich. When he hesitated after being offered fries to accompany the sandwich, the waiter recommended other possible sides, and he chose a salad. We opted to share the espresso brownie dessert. If you want to try this dessert, bring some friends. The portion was too big even for 2 people. It's also pretty expensive, so I would recommend that the restaurant offer a half portion for half the price.

Picturesque location on the ocean with beautiful views. Christian, our Filipino waiter, was awesome! He made sure to explain everything, give us recommendations and follow up on us after the food was served. He even helped get us a taxi when leaving. Great job, Christian. The ceviche was amazing! Delicious. The rockfish was absolutely fantastic. Just delicious. Great job.
Highly recommend the hidden gem. Thank you, Christian!

Let's start with this restaurant came recommended to us by a friend as a very romantic spot. We made reservations well in advance and confirmed earlier in the day of our reservation. The restaurant also confirmed a day prior. We took at 30 min taxi ride from Hamilton to Coconuts. We arrived at The Reefs resort only to be told by a front desk clerk that they had chosen not to open the restaurant that evening - no reason why, no call ahead, nothing. We were given an option to eat at one of their lesser quality restaurants or leave. No one seemed to care a bit about us or any of the other arriving guests. We did eat at Aqua Terra and were unimpressed. $45 for a sub-par chicken breast. One standout was the foie gras starter. When finished we asked the waiter to call a taxi for us. We were told 15 min. 30 min later, no taxi. Front desk again could care less. Luckily, after 45 min someone arrived in a taxi (hopefully not to eat at Coconuts!) and we grabbed their taxi to return to Hamilton. Overall a bust of an anniversary night out. Luckily the Intrepid restaurant at our hotel was still open. The Reefs should be ashamed for treating customers as they did.

Beautiful evening! Started the evening off at the Reefs’ upstairs bar with a couple of Dark n’ Stormies and then strolled down to Coconuts. Both had amazing views!
Had a lovely table overlooking the beach. Food was very tasty. Thai shrimp, mussels and rock fish were great. Service was fine but could have been better. Also wish there was a bit more of a vibe - perhaps some music.
After our meals, my wife and I lingered over our wine and dessert while watching our kids stroll the beach as an amazing sunset took place. Will never forget it!

Great meal in a beautiful setting. Service and food were excellent. My daughter had the rib eye and I had the salmon. We enjoyed a pre meal cocktail upstairs in the outdoor lounge area.
The young man working concierge worked hard to get us a taxi ride home but ultimately my daughter downloaded Hitch so that we could order a taxi. We had the opportunity to enjoy the evening entertainment while we waited. Will return!

Excellent food and service right by the ocean. Rum Swizzle excellent. Fish chowder excellent. Thai chili shrimp excellent with a spicy kick, hubby’s rib eye steak was very good and the mango cheesecake was also very good. Would definitely go back. Consistently excellent. Will try their Sunday brunch next visit.

We had reservations for the beach bbq, even had confirmation from the front desk, and on our printed agenda sheet. When we arrived, we were told that we were not on their reservation list. We were humiliated when the manager told the wait staff in a sarcastic tone to take apart a table for us, and that that table would need to be put back together as soon as we leave. Another night we had reservations at coconuts, arrived at 6:00, only to stand there for 15 minutes while the staff had a meeting behind us. No one would look at us. We heard the manager using swear words as he berated people. Finally, meeting over, 15 minutes later, we are show to a table, and then left there, no water, no service for another 15 minutes. Food was ‘ok’, service was awful. View was amazing.

Amazing location and view! Pricey Rockfish that didn’t delight us unfortunately. Not clear on whether or not it was fresh caught as server didn’t appear to know. Sauce and veggies that accompanied the fish were excellent though. Drinks were good. Server was attentive. Would go back to sit at the bar for a drink or try lunch.

This is a beautiful spot for dinner. The food is excellent and the view is amazing. We loved the ribs, shrimp with pesto pasta and fish and chips! Richard took very good care of us and we look forward to coming back!

A lovely spot close to where we were staying. Down a lot of stairs but worth it right on the beach, with a lovely sunset. The food choice was good and the qualty great, we reallty enjoyed it. Highly recommend
