Never been here for Christmas but decide to give it a try, Nicely decorated. Friendly staff. It was a limited menu tonight and the food was OK.

We dined at the Cafe Lido in celebration of my birthday in Bermuda. Being guests at a different resort, we had to get a cab to get here. We were glad we did that because it's located a good few minutes drive from the main...road to the beach. it is on the beachfront and is overlooking the ocean! We had a window table and the pristine sandy beach in front could easily be mistaken for the white snow in the winter month! Such a wonderful sight to behold! The azure and while internal decor and ambiance were pleasantly calming. The staff were attentive and friendly. The wine selection was impressive and so too the good food choices. We had octopus grilled to perfection as starters and scrumptious swordfish and mouthwatering mixed seafood as our mains. All washed down with a very good bottle of red wine. The soufflés were a dessert heaven! The evening was certainly a memorable and fine one and we will certainly be returning let's hope for lunch (so that we can enjoy the ocean view more) the next time we are in Bermuda!More

We came here for dinner and we were not impressed. While the view is amazing, the food and service was not. The food was rubbery and bland and didn’t have that much flavor. The seasoning was also disappointing. The prices of such low preforming food...is shocking. The waitstaff barely spoke English which made communication extremely difficult. They messed up our order on two separate occasions during our meal and brought us the wrong dish. While many restaurants would say they’re sorry and replace the meal, the service staff refused to replace our food and told us that we ordered something else. I went from the outside area to use the bathroom on the inside area they would not let me walk through a certain set of doors and made me take the long way through the entrance of the restaurant instead of the side door.More

We visited the Lido restaurant for brunch. The staff and the ambiance were lovely. My husband’s omelet was very good. I had the healthy breakfast and all I can say is WOW! I highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed Dinner in Cafe Lido on several occasions during our recent stay in Bermuda. The staff were welcoming and accommodating and the food consistently delicious. The view is beautiful, especially seated next to one of the many floor to ceiling windows looking out...over the floodlit beach and rolling surf. The interior is refined and elegant, perfect for Romantic Dinners and Celebrations. The Chef served us complimentary warm Cheese Puff-Balls on each occasion, which were delicious, as indeed was everything we had. We recommend the Salmon, Swordfish and the Branzino, and very much look forward to returning.More

This restaurant has to have one of the best settings anywhere as one can look right down onto the beach, which is also floodlit at night. We had a drink there one night ($7 for a glass of grapefruit juice) and breakfast one morning. The...eggs Benedict were very good but I wasn’t happy that I was refused toast with the dish, despite the menu clearly saying that ALL egg dishes came with toast (irrespective of the eggs being served on an English muffin). If one of the egg dishes doesn’t come with toast, don’t say that all egg dishes do. It’s not like they’re cheap after all.More

Nice cafe for a good breakfast. Over looking the ocean on the Elbow beach property, has gorgeous views! Very nice waitstaff makes for a pleasant experience! My wife had the Elbow beach breakfast, a huge plate of food! Perfect Eggs Benedict, a lot of tasty...smoked Bacon, Sausage, Potato and Spinach hash, sautéed Mushrooms, toast, cereal and juice! Enough for 2 for sure! My Scrambled Eggs were perfectly cooked and tasty but the Pancakes were hard as the plate? I would eat here again for sure, just would pick my selections a little differently.More

I brought my daughter here for her birthday and was disappointed. I expected a bit more from a very expensive restaurant. I went to another restaurant on the island when it was my birthday a few years ago and at the end, they treated me...to a beautiful piece of cake that had happy birthday on it. You would think with the prices this restaurant charges, they would do better than few little chocolate cookies, which, by the way, they give to all their guests along with the bill. I thought it was so cheap. They charge a lot for their main course dinners and you have to pay extra just to get vegetables or potatoes. As well, when we sat down, the waiter just asked us what kind of water we wanted, we told him and he came back with water and left. Then another waiter came to take our order. I told him nobody asked us for our drink order, can we order drinks, at which point, he took our drinks order. My daughters liked the food and were happy with their choices, but in the end, I was disappointed in this restaurant and would not go again for a special occasion.More

Top marks to Lidos again for second lobster dinner in a week ..that was exquisite!! Ennio and Giovanni's team as always give great service and make the evening feel special! Local lobster is in season and they prepare and bake to perfection. I had surf...and turf whilst hubby and friend had half lobster accompanied by risotto....appetizers were tuna tartare and crab cake, finished with apple strudel for dessert. Each dish was delicious! Coupled with the beautiful vista of Elbow beach, Lidos is not to be missed if you're visiting the rock! Will be back soon guys.....thank you!More
