We have been to Fourways Inn each time we visit Bermuda...twice during a 4 night stay one year! It is an "old school" fine dining experience in terms of a more formal dining room with soft piano in the background. Some may find the decor a bit dated as has been commented on but we find it charming and appreciate that it is part of the whole experience. The service is excellent...attentive but not overbearing. The menu has lots of choices including many meats and seafood. The rack of lamb is fantastic and carved table side. We have had an amazing wahoo pastrami (as it was described) that was out of this world. If there is wahoo carpaccio on the menu or as a special be sure to try it! The dessert souffles are superb-we ventured out a bit flavor wise and ordered the stilton/vanilla. Sounds crazy but the combo of salty and sweet was incredible and we now order it each time! Alex runs a great restaurant and always stops by each table to say hello and inquire how everything is. Looking forward to our next visit this year for our Anniversary!

This is a time warp to enjoy. My wife and I had the most wonderful evening in this restaurant. From the moment we arrived when we were loudly greeted with open arms by a jovial, loud restaurant manager who happened to be standing by reception it was great. We responded in similar fashion, a lovely start to an evening, this is how to do hospitality. The next thing I noticed was live piano music. Fabulous. This is the first and only place we have been to in Bermuda that had a grand piano with a pianist actually playing it. The pianist is a lovely guy called Toni who used to be a musical director on cruises and who loves to play requests especially when you buy him a drink. I asked him to play Laura (the theme from the 1940s Hollywood movie) and also Stardust. I can play Stardust But I could never manage to play Laura as it is so complex. I was amused when Toni volunteered that ‘Laura’ is a difficult tune to play. He then went on to play it beautifully …as far as I could hear…because at that point, while he was playing, an ebullient maitre d’ finally arrived at our table and went through the menu options and specials, which was a performance in itself. Everything about this restaurant felt “time warp“ from the decor, the menu, the style, the furniture, the carpet, the pianist… Everything. Some of the menu is such a blast from the past including their ‘famous steak Diane flambé’ and the ‘crêpe Suzettes.’ We watched as the trolley came out again and again for the preparation of both dishes at various tables. All the staff were terrific but I guess they were also slightly short staffed as we arrived on schedule at 7:30 pm and it was 8:30 pm before we got to order but that didn’t matter, we started on a bottle of Montrachet while we waited and enjoyed the pianist and it was all great fun. To see these two managers working the room was a joy to experience especially when they came to our table. Of course I had to order the steak Diane although there are so many other main course items I would have equally wished to order. The menu was absolutely terrific. Sadly we were booked in at a different restaurant for every night of our stay in Bermuda, otherwise we would definitely have booked for a second visit. We really didn’t mind waiting for an hour as it was all so entertaining and enjoyable. However what stopped us having the crêpe Suzette was the inclusion on the menu of a trio of soufflés! This was a first which my wife and I just had to go for. While the soufflé itself was the same for each of the trio, it was perfectly cooked and the pourings were delicious. We were asked to try a blue cheese soufflé. I just didn’t like the sound of that but we were persuaded to share one. It was totally historic. We ran up our highest bill of the week but it was worth every cent and more. The standard of restaurants in Bermuda is very high however this one has to be our favourite. I hope it never changes, clearly an amenity for locals as well as visitors

Perfect again. The entire meal was outstanding. I ordered lamb. Another 10 done the way I ordered it, medium. Most times restaurants get it wrong but it was tender and tasted great. Perfect again. All I needed to do was sing a song and ruin the night and just when I thought I was going to go to the piano the pianist came to us and played our selection from CATS. With Godiva Chocolate Souffle and petit fours we were in love all over again and I had only one thing on my mind. So did she. She presented me with the bill. I was more than delighted to pay for it because it was one of the best dining moments of my life. A perfect score all around. My guest had Seabass and broiled guinea chick and I tasted it. Outstanding. This was better than a 4 star Michellin Restaurant. Great service from the moment you enter until you leave. They take care of you at Fourways and are happy and passionate about what they do.

I’ve stayed at Fourways several times over the years, including during Covid in 2021 where I was required to self-isolate for 24 hours until my positive test came through from the airport test upon landing. Nice new airport: probably needs 8,000 more hotel rooms to make it pay off. Just an opinion. The history and beauty of this place is very much Old Bermuda. The ownership now (“Venice Group”), leaves the management and “show” to the very talented, Alex. They have a wonderful piano player. The staff is very attentive. The humidifier room for cigars and amazing (“pricey” & quite classic) wines is a must see. Alex, though, is both a consummate manager and showman. In all the good ways. I ordered the classic Bermuda fish soup. Foie gras (have to always compare with Tom Moore’s 😉). Filet. Again, Bermuda beef is excellent. Surprisingly so. The wines were delicious. I chose a French white and a French red. The other guests were very happy in their own experiences. One table had a couple of children about the same age as my son. There discussion about tradition, good food, experience in life was a classic father-son talk. It’s really that kind of place. They ordered a steak Diane & Alex flambéed it as only he can. For dessert, soufflé is the choice. It comes in many flavors, including blue cheese (oy, my arteries), my choice. Fourways also has a very popular Sunday brunch. All kinds of food and family. It’s one of the best. The hotel cottages are great too.

My wife and I chose to have dinner here to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. First of all, it was one of the most elegant dining rooms we’ve ever seen. The maitre de even escorted my wife on his arm to our table. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food was outstanding. My wife had the Burratta Salad and. Had the special appetizer which was the cream of tomato soup. Both were very good. For dinner we had the special of the day which was the Parmesan crusted veal. Being veal lovers it was exquisite- pounded thin, with an excellent sauce over it. Simply delicious! For dessert we had the molten chocolate cake and the plate was beautifully decorated for wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Fourways Inn lives up to its high ratings!

Fourways has held the king of brunch title in our opinion for years. The spread of food types is amazing from sushi to roasts to artisan dishes you name it & its all available. Definitely have to book early for Sunday brunch. Service is good & in Bermuda terms this is the best value brunch in terms of variety, quality & price on the island. Highly recommended. We have used it for years & its always a special treat. Ala Carte dinner dining can be expensive but you get quality & superb service & are made to feel important.

Our menu consisted of choice Roasted Pumpkin Soup or Caesar Salad. Main course Bermuda Wahoo Almandine with this fresh advocdo, mango salsa / Escalope Chicken Classic in a lemon-lime butter.Finished with a delicious dessert Hot Vanilla Souffle with either a Strawberry or Chocolate Sauce. Coffee or Tea to compliment the meal. The food was exquisite and the venue I would recommend for any one holding a special function to enquire. It ticked all our boxes and also the members had a wonderfull time. We would definitely use this Restaurant again given the choice.

I certainly enjoyed the Chinese and Japanese theme brunches. I was looking forward to the shrimp tempura and the sushi is always good. There was also many other dishes to choose from. For visitors, it is good to try the Bermuda Sunday morning breakfast of codfish, potato, boiled egg, avocado and banana. You must mix it with mayonnaise.

The four ways restaurant is a very classical Bermudan restaurant in style. We were greeted and taken to our table where the covid safeguards were explained to us. They were easy to follow but comprehensive enough to keep everyone safe. The range of foods was great; sushi, omelettes, roast meats, seafood to name a few. Each week then has a theme section the week we visited was Italian so there was a selection of Italian foods as well. We didn't feel rushed to eat and go like some of the venue's we have had brunch at. It was a very friendly and family oriented place I would thoroughly recommend for anyone to go to.

We have for years considered this our favorite restaurant on Bermuda, and have celebrated there for special occasions. We looked forward to celebrating another anniversary there recently, made a reservation well in advance, only to be contacted on short notice that they were closed due to a "staffing emergency". No one we talked to on Bermuda knew they were closed. Out of curiosity I went to their Facebook page while we were there, only to see that they were cancelling their Sunday brunch because the staff were so tired from catering for the GP regatta. That doesn't sound like a last minute emergency. We feel like we were dismissed for a more lucrative opportunity. Miffed.

Dear HooPoo – thank you for taking the time to review on TripAdvisor. We are sorry to hear that we were not able to accommodate you for your anniversary dinner. The past 2 years have been incredibly difficult for our industry and staffing issues have now become a world-wide problem. Unfortunately, we could not foresee that we would have the perfect storm of large pre-booked caterings, staff out sick and staff stuck overseas. We did not get into all of the personal details of our staff on Facebook but as you mentioned we did contact you ahead of time to advise we had a staffing emergency, which was indeed the case. This sometimes results in us having to make very difficult decisions like closing the restaurant for a short period of time, which is not something we take lightly but we will not sacrifice the service and quality we are known for or unfairly over-burden our staff. We hope you understand the difficult position we found ourselves in and that we can welcome you back in the future. Kind regards, Andy Detzer General Manager

Just had an amazing dinner, chateaubriand steak and Lobster Thermidor followed by the soufflé. Both the steak and lobster were melt in your mouth and the sauces including homemade hollandaise were fantastic. Service very friendly and good ambience with live piano. The tuna tartare amouse bouche was a nice surprise too. We will be coming back for same again! Well done Fourways.

We haven't been here for years, as it was usually saved for a special occasion. We saw a write up about a special rack of lamb menu and decided to try it with neighbors. The food was outstanding. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the accompaniments were great as well. Potatoes Dauphinoise, fresh asparagus, and a rattatouile stuffed in a tomato, which was to die for. And of course everyone ended the meal with a fabulous souffle, each being a different flavor. Great wine menu, although a bit pricey. We'll be back soon. Some of the best food we've had in Bermuda in a long time.

Fourways is by far the best restaurant in Bermuda with regard to quality of food, professionalism of the staff, and overall dining experience. The table side caesar salad is excellent, the chateaubriand is to die for, and the soufflés are delicious. Overall a fantastic restaurant for dinner, and their buffet style brunch is amazing!

We had a fabulous Sunday Brunch at The Fourways. There were so many interesting choices. Each one was more delicious than the last. Considering the cost of a nice meal at other Bermuda restaurants, The Fourways Sunday Brunch was not only delicious, but quite a bargain, in my opinion. If you have the opportunity, don’t pass it up!

First time dining at Fourways. Definitely an “old school” fine dining experience. Extremely attentive service the entire meal; piano player a nice touch; food was great and very extensive (and expensive) wine menu. Great choice if you want to splurge or have a romantic dinner while in Bermuda
