The food: Fresh fish, nori and rice was good but could be great. The service: It was excellent until we were asked to leave the restaurant with our two year old. Apparently we were being too loud and maitre d' essentially gave us the boot...mid meal. Final review: probably one of the better sushi restaurants in Bermuda. However, if you have kids… do not even think about coming here. We won’t be back.More
Great restaurant but embarrassing to the island to have such a rude maitre d. 833865946 My client hosted a dinner at Pearl a couple of weeks ago. Mihai (sp?) was the maitre d and was so incredibly rude to my client who is (was) thinking...of moving to Bermuda. I put a massive amount of effort into making my client feel comfortable setting up in Bermuda and it all seems to have been undone by one person ruining it for us all. Very upsetting because every other Bermuda experience was nothing but positive. I strongly suggest that Mihai undergo hospitality training before being allowed to interact in public with humans again. Pearl (and Bermuda) is such a wonderful place - please make sure to carefully select your ambassadors or you run the risk of permanently ruining your brand.More
Amazing staff. Great service. Food was delicious. Notably, the manager (Praveen) was awesome as he chose all of our rolls based on our preferences. Ask for Praveen, you won’t be disappointed!
Very good and fresh sushi with a great menu. In honesty, the food was better than rival restaurants us Blu albeit in less opulent surroundings.
This is noted to be one of the best sushi restaurants on the island but that should be taken with a grain of salt. All of the sushi options we ordered had an excessive amount of rice that really detracted from the overall enjoyment of...the fish. The drinks were mediocre at best. If you are really craving sushi, this may be the best option, but don’t use the history of Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglass dining here as a metric for your expectations.More
Really great sushi, but a pretty plain restaurant. No need to dress up too much for this place, but more importantly, great food!! Interesting sushi dishes.

We are here at the recommendation of a local person. They are under renovations and currently serving the pearl menu at a place called bistro J. We called for reservations but none were needed. The menu was excellent and all the dishes came out promptly...and were very fresh and flavorful. We enjoyed four different sushi rolls and the renowned cheesecake. It was excellent and we will definitely come here again.More
We have ate at, no kidding, easily over 50 Sushi restaurants over the years, and this venue is definitely in the top 1% easily. Wide variety of Sushi, and very satisfied with their consistent, high quality from Sashimi's to their Hamachi's!
All the fish we tried was excellent, specialty rolls, hand rolls, sashimi, nigiri, all fresh. Hamachi, Tuna , Salmon , and salads were all fabulous. They have a very solid cocktail program, and the service was excellent!
So welcoming and friendly! MiHai and his staff were awesome. We arrived a few minutes early but they seated us and accommodated our cocktail orders. Veronica and Ranjeet took excellent care of us. Very attentive and patient. We were celebrating our last night in Bermuda...with great exuberance! The sushi was phenomenal! We polished off one large platter of rolls and proceeded to order another. So good! One in our party left her expensive sun glasses on the table, and they are holding them for her for a friend to pick up next week. That's service! Definitely on our list of places to return to when we visit Bermuda again.More
We went on Thursday night and had the best meal! We have eaten Sushi in loads of places, but this place topped them all!
Went there on a Friday for dinner. We were four and all shared appetizers (seared beef was my favorite) with a selection of rolls. Food was excellent and we had great fun. I must admit that the service was quite slow that evening even though...it wasn’t fully packed, so that’s why I’m taking out a star. Took more than an hour to get our rolls. I would still go back as the food was very good.More
Nice dinner on the veranda. Spouse had daily specials while I had items from the menu. Food and service were excellent.
My wife and I had a great time at Pearl...loved the sushi and the experience. Would recommend to anyone. So good, we went twice!
