Delicious tapas experience on Bolero’s balcony overlooking the harbor. The restaurant is very Covid-conscious, which we appreciated. We really enjoyed our selections, especially the fried artichokes and spicy shrimp. Service was great, and we loved talking with Jay. One of our two favorite meals in...Bermuda!More

I was so hopeful for a great experience at Bolero. Based on previous reviews it sounded like a great tapas restaurant. Unfortunately it fell very short of these expectations. The first issue was that the dining room had to be at least 78 degrees Fahrenheit....For an indoor dining room that is too warm and just bad business sense. The food itself was good but not outstanding. Ultimately it was the service that was sorely lacking. As with any tapas restaurant we ordered a number of dishes to start. Typically these would come out in a staggered pace so you could enjoy one or two at a time. However, our server brought every dish at exactly the same time. I could probably overlook that but she then disappeared and never returned to our table for over 40 minutes. Not to see how the food was, not for water, nothing. In fact, the only one who came to our table was the hostess after that 40 minutes to ask if we wanted anything else. By that time we were so disappointed we were just ready for the check. That was the first time that our server came back since the food was served. I’m typically very easy going with my outlook on service as anyone can have a bad night but this seemed to be a systemic problem that would not be any better on another night. I noticed that 2 other tables in the same vicinity were having the same experience and just wanted to get their check and leave. Just not sure where all of the good reviews came from?More

This meal was a highlight to my Bermuda Vacation. I shared a number of small tapas including the sizzling squid, chicken, charred broccoli, spicy potatoes and pan. Each was delicious. The service was wonderful. However the dessert made the meal. I choose the Alex and...Pete ice cream honeycomb with crunchie bits. The crunchie is on of my favorite candies. My one recommendation is that you do not share this dessert. It comes two scoops in a cone. Each family member needs one! I also forgot to take a picture of the cone it was so great. Great wine and a lovely outdoor balcony if you want to sit outside like us!More

We have always loved Bolero, the atmosphere, the wait staff and head chef/ owner Jonny, always consistent and excellent, but the new tapas menu is to die for. Every bite was delicious and there was just enough variety to please everyone. My stand out was...the octopus, tender and tasty, but it’s hard to pick just one! Can’t wait to go back!More

I was lucky enough to find out about this local gem from a longtime Bermuda resident. It is the place to go if you are looking for outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. In fact, my husband and I enjoyed Bolero so much that we ate...there three times during our recent visit to the island. The owner, Jonny Roberts, is also the chef! Well-recognized on the island for his skill, the food did not disappoint. We enjoyed prosciutto with artichokes, local rockfish, shrimp, and watercress Caesar salad, just to mention a few items. Jonny and his sous chef, Chops, do ALL the cooking. Amazing! The dining room runs like a well-oiled machine. Marian and Nicholas have worked at Bolero for years and are incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about both the cuisine and the excellent wine list. If you are looking for a creative rum or champagne cocktail, Sean, the bartender, will make sure not to disappoint. Located on the 2nd floor of a lovely old building on Front Street, care has been put into the decor, with interesting artwork created by Jonny's wife and friends. Such love has been put into this restaurant that it is no wonder locals fill the dining room for both lunch and dinner. I'm just so glad that we discovered Bolero and we'll certainly return on our next trip!More

Massage st restaurants in Bermuda produce good food and service but this one has the owner in the kitchen, which you can see. He used to be a little more creative than he is now but his food is interesting and fun and it is...reasonably priced for an upmarket Bermuda restaurant.More

We always enjoy our evenings at Bolero Brasserie. We enjoyed outstanding pork belly, grilled lamb, swordfish, hangar steak, and short ribs this week. The wine list never disappoints and the service is top notch. Bolero is by far the best dining experience in Hamilton.

Went to Bolero to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday and was treated to something special. Nicholas treated us like we were family with his service and recommendations on the menu. We had the shrimp pil pil and the prosciutto for apps and and both had...the hanger steak which melted in your mouth. I would highly suggest trying it there you will not be disappointed. It is a little hard to find but it is a hit with locals which tells you something. Chef Jonny my wife was very happy with your special gift thank you again. We will definiitely be back on our next visit to the island.More

Bolero’s food is the best I have tasted in Bermuda. Inventive dishes couples with delicious wine and a pleasant atmosphere. The cauliflower soup was perfectly pureed with stilton cheese and the steak cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion dinner.
