At Portofino's our philosophy is simple; Everyone who visit our Restaurants is either already a friend or will be, by embracing that theory, we make sure every guest will have exceptional service, excellent food and every time they come back to Portofinos, they will feel at home.
I had an anniversary dinner here and it was very good. The server was very knowledgeable and was really helpful I was a bit disappointed that there was no table setting this would have added to the decor of the restaurant. I had the Bermuda...fish chowder to start the tuna tartare for a second course and lamb chops for my main... The soup was very appetizing however the tuna tartare and the lamb chops not sure if it was the sauce but it was a bit salty, I would also recommend getting new steak knives as it was cutting into my lamb. We had also called ahead to make the reservations which I had stated that I have a shellfish allergy but on arrival no one had asked so that was a downfall for me as well.but all in all it was a very good experience I would definitely return to give you guys a second try. The icing on the cake was when the server sang for us which was really nice.More
Everything about this restaurant is perfect. The wait staff is extremely helpful, the ambience is lovely, the wine selection is fabulous and the food is OFF THE CHARTS DELICIOUS. (The children's menu will satisfy even the pickiest of patrons.) This restaurant has legit, homemade Italian...dishes that are creations of savory perfection.More
We arrived on a quiet evening and were promptly seated. The menu was carrying with something for everyone's taste and our order taken. The house Pino Grigio was delicious and happy, as it should be.
The food was delicious - everyone agreed. However, I had...a calzone, which is the size of a small animal. Not a criticism but be aware. Pleasant and prompt service without rushing us.
1. If you're thinking of ordering a calzone, arrive hungry!
2. Across the street there is a statue of Mark Twain, sitting on a bench (he spent his final days on Bermuda).More
We have been going to this restaurant for many years. This year we were disappointed in the food compared to what it has been in the past! Food seemed lesser quality!
Spaghetti and meatballs less than average And certainly did not taste like authentic Italian...fare.
However, the renovations are lovely and more invitingMore
We decided to stop in after their recent renovations and we haven't been able to stay away. Every meal has been excellent and the Ceasar salad is off the hook. A definite must. Already looking forward to our next dining experience!
