We ate at the Lobster Pot two times on our recent family trip to Bermuda. The first time we ordered off the menu and the coconut shrimp, spiny lobster and rock fish were all fantastic! We went back after fishing and catching our own Wahoo and tuna, the chef prepared six different dishes for us and they were all some of the best we have ever eaten. Thank you, The Laker Family

On our first visit to Hamilton, we chose the Lobster Pot to celebrate my birthday. This authentically Bermudian restaurant is slightly off the tourist trail but worth the detour. It is located near the Hamilton Princess Hotel. The internal homey ambiance was charmed with seafarer's paraphernalia creating a casual, cosy and warm welcoming atmosphere. The menu was extensive and choices were staggering. The service was attentive and prompt. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Our simply great appetisers were conch chowder, lobster and crab cakes. The grilled spiny Bermuda lobsters and rockfish with capers and onions and their sides of vegetables were freshly prepared, beautifully presented, delectable, deliciously flavoursome and very scrumptious! For finale, we had sublime coco meringue and decadent brownie sundae. Our friendly young waiter surprised me with a moist mini chocolate birthday cake with fresh cut of strawberries. Now that was a really good gesture on his part to make our day extra special! The few enjoyable hours of dining at this place made us left Hamilton very happy, content and blessed! I would highly recommend this restaurant. To avoid disappointment, table reservation would be wise!

The restaurant is definitely the best place to eat seafood in the city. They have a variety of options available to chose from and their dishes don't like imagination. The two ladies who welcomed me (I am sorry for not asking names) at 17:15 on March 26 were exceptional. The atmosphere and decor already put you in the mood for something special but it is the food itself that exceeds all expectations. We tried the seafood lovers feast, calamari, lobster shrimps cake, mozzarella stick, apple cramble and they were all delicious, including the complimentary soup and hot buttered bread. The prices are really low for the quality of food and service. I can't wait to go back and will recommend it to all my friends.

We came during lobster season, with a 7pm booking. Lobsters were limited and on a first come first served basis. We were disappointed with then having run out during Bermudas lobster season - the place wasnt even busy. Would recommend arriving for an early dinner and checking availability of fresh lobster to avoid disappointment. They do offer imported lobster, but not really what we went for. Alternative options were decent and a great setting.

The Lobster Pot is a totally charming local restaurant, just a few minutes walk from Front Street but a great way to get away from the tourist crowds. Get the fish "boat mate style" you will not regret it. Excellent service.

The Lobster Pot is clearly a local favorite. We went on a Friday night and it was packed, noisy, fun and delicious. Our waiter was a delight and the food truly delicious. For a fun evening with the locals, this is a real winner.

Off Front St, the Lobster Pot was a nice find. Although it was not Bermuda's lobster season, there were a nice choice of lobster meals as well as other fish dinners. The wahoo was cooked perfectly without over powering seasoning and sauce.

Lobster Pot claims a 45-year history serving Bermuda, and I can say they have pleased residents and visitors alike with good food and service for a long time. Like every restaurant, prices continue to rise, but we took on their special priced offerings for restaurant weeks (RW) 2024 with good results. The chicken skewers were followed by steak and a brownie for desert. My fellow diner had the fish, which was a bit dry but edible. The service was excellent, and I can recommend the most extensive and creative RW menu that should please everyone.

Although it's called the Lobster Pot and I love lobster, I've never eaten it here. We are never in Bermuda during lobster season. We do love the food here and the service is excellent. This was our Pandemic Visit, so things were different. We ate outside on their covered porch. Tables were spaced nicely. Staff were wearing masks. offered sanitizer and took contact info. As in all the restaurants, you wear your mask to the table, but not while you are seated and eating. As in most of the restaurants we visited, menus are all throw away paper. I love their Bermuda Fish Chowder - it's my favorite of all the ones I've tried around the island. Just the right amount of spice and very tasty. I always get the Catch of the Day with the lemon butter sauce. I've tried the other preparations, but this is my favorite. My husband likes the Fisherman's Platter. They make my favorite dessert, banana fritters, but there is a banana shortage in Bermuda at the moment. So no fritters :( Another excellent meal, Lobster Pot! Thanks!

A friend suggested this place while we were in Bermuda. I sprung for the Lobster, simply because most of the other entrees were as expensive. I was a bit disappointed to find very little meat in the half lobster that I got. I would have been better off getting something else for the same cost. Overall tasted good though. I had asked for a salad instead of carbs, and as brought a lovely salad. But they forgot the veggies that were supposed to come with it. My colleagues found their meals to be good, but overall an expensive meal.

Iv’e been to Lobster Pot several times now only to be left very disappointed with both visits. The reason for my review is the extraordinarily RUDE management & staff. Not sure what their issue was but if your having a bad day- don’t take it out on your guests! We ended up simply leaving…Why give our money to a sub-par establishment that acted like they were doing US a favor? Also, ambiance & decor is …blah. The food is just ‘ok’, and although Bermuda is priced higher, the meals I’ve experienced were certainly not worth the price.

The first time I went to Bermuda, our taxi driver recommended The Lobster Pot, a local favorite. My most recent meal didn’t disappoint. Fish chowder is the best in Bermuda (I’ve tried it at many locations). The rock fish came out piping hot and was delicious. And the rum swizzles were a real treat. Very casual atmosphere.

After 4 nights on the island we ask some locals and they recommended this place. Prices were not bad for the island. We ordered wahoo app, Caesar salad, and seafood pasta. They split everything for us and everything was very good. With cocktails and tip we were under $100. Would definitely go back.

I had no complaints about this restaurant. For me, both food and service were fine. We went there because my husband was searching for the best Bermuda fish chowder. He liked the chowder, but he didn't like that the cruets of rum and sherry pepper weren't left on the table. He also complained to me about our waitress, but I thought she was friendly enough. Finally, he said that there was no liquor in his cocktail. On the other hand, my glass of wine was generous. The inside of this restaurant is cute. We opted for outside. That might not be the best choice. The clear vinyl shades were rolled down, so the spot was not really open-air, and that side of the restaurant is neither scenic nor interesting. I liked my lobster, shrimp, and crab cakes, which came with a cute little salad, and the fries that my husband shared with me were great. I was surprised by the mussels preparation. I was expecting broth, not a thick sauce, but both the mussels and sauce were pleasant enough. There's so much food to choose from in Hamilton that I'm not sure that you should put this restaurant on your list of "musts" when in Hamilton, but I found the food and service to both be fine--just steer clear of the cocktails if you want to get your money's worth.

We love seafood, so the Lobster Pot seemed to be an obvious choice. Chrissy was our server and I cant think of the bat tenders name, but I believe he was french. Both of these staffers were top notch. The food was very good. I highly recommend. Hey there prior to 6pm or plan to have a reservation
