We absolutely love a curry so when we spotted an authentic Indian restaurant on the island we had to book a table. We were NOT disappointed. The restaurant is beatitful dressed with light ambient music and is spotlesslesly clean. Our waiter Kamal (hoping I'm spelling...correctly) was so friendly and helpful with our menu choices. He was happy to chat but not intrusive, which was lovely! The drinks, there are some house special cocktails, in addition to a fully stocked bar. We tried a couple of the house specials and each were delicious and complimented our food perfectly. The food, we had pakoras, poppadoms, paneer tikka massala, chicken rogan josh, naan breads and rice. To follow we had saffron almond ice cream and a milk shake. Kamal also explained that the ice cream recipes are the restaurants own and gave us an additional scoop of the house mango ice cream to try. Everything was completely delicious, can be tailored to your tastes and preferences and is truly authentic and delicious. The restaurant is a little off the tourist track but this adds to the experience and also means that you get extra value for money. We were so impressed that we'd give it 10 stars if it was an option. Definitely not one to be missed! Thank you to the whole team for a lovely evening on our honeymoon.More

We have been back living on the island since last September but due work haven't had much time to go out but late last year we went to ruby murry's for a meal and was very disappointed in the quality of the Indian food as...compared to when we went there in 2015. So we thought we would try house of india and it was fantastic, the food and the staff I could not fault one bit. Thank you so much guys we will be back very soon. Peter & DetashaMore

This is a legit Indian Restaurant run by Easti Indians who know what they are doing when it come to East Indian food. I had the Rogan Josh with Lamb and it was excellent. This was the first meal we had while visiting Bermuda and...it far surpassed a lot of the others. I would definitely eat here again.More

An excellent Mojito set the mood after the warm welcome then came the buffet which was tasty, warm and well presented. I enjoyed the whole meal from the salad to the vegetarian dishes, beef, and chicken.

It is unlikely that we will be able to return to Bermuda because of our age and our difficulty with mobility ...and we live in Portland, Maine!

Samosas always bone dry, flavorless, thick tasteless pastry. How I long for a fresh moist one with flaky pastry. The naan- thick & gluey- no longer light & pliable. Menu never refreshed. Won't return unless significant improvements announced. Very expensive takeout! Locals travel, KNOW better...& demand good dollar value. Owners need to invest profits in chef training if they want my business!.More

The service was top of the line. Delicious lunch buffett with naan. We got there at the end of lunch and they were kind enough to make another dish for us. We are vegan and there were plenty of delicious options for us!

Forgot an order, flavour was weak and this old favourite Indian restaurant has dropped some. Time to try the competition.
