Takeout service and order December 2, 2021. Every customer needs the most basic friendliness, good price, choice, convenience, and quality. Friendliness is associated with empathy, being greeted graciously and with warmth. There was a service breakdown when the order and service was placed, which did...not meet the expectations as a frequent customer. When we arrived at the takeout to make a verbal complaint the server, who was found to be an uninterested representative, dismissed the complaint as a "language barrier" due to the mask wearing. When we sat to dine at home the 2 dishes that were asked to be "mild" were too spicy, as well as the 3 appetizers were overdone and dry and not very palatable. Subsequently, we had to discard the food away and purchase from another restaurant. This poor service and product dampened the birthday celebration trying to surprise the birthday person with a special dinner with family. We chose not to call back due to the earlier dismissal and uninterested representative when we came to collect our takeout order earlier. There are still some customers that do like consistency and efficient experiences whether it is dine in or takeout product. This is a very effective way to maintain customer loyalty, customer service that exceeds rather than just meets the expectations of the customer. Unfortunately, we will not consider House of India as our preference for birthday gatherings due to the inconsistency of product and service. Many thanks, Scymone A DeVentMore
