Great Old English Pub near Front Street in Hamilton

Supposedly the oldest pub in Hamilton. It was a great place to relax and have lunch after a morning of shopping. Busy lunch crowd appeared to include many locals. Good sandwiches and the like--recommend the Fish BLT and the Meat Melt. There was, of course, a good selection of beers, ales and... read more

Best Eggs Benedict ever. Winter is an amazing bar tender and Dwight, the manager, is as good as it gets. I visit the Hog Penney at least twice every Bermuda visit, and I go to Bermuda all the time!!

My husband and I enjoyed having lunch here. No dress code or reservations needed for lunch. Service and food were good. We had a really friendly and efficient waiter from Romania (I can't remember his name though). We were able to pick a place to sit. Unfortunately our booth was under a busy and noisy stairwell attached to the restaurant... More

this evening we decided at the last minute to go to the Hog Penny. We had a dine around certificate which we used. The choices were lovely, and we were very happy with our choices and the service we received was prompt and courteous even though the place was so busy. Thanks to the ladies and to Dwight they got... Good food, dark interior and shaded so cool if you need to get away from heat / sun. Traditional menu, good service. Popular venue with locals

I have lived in Bermuda long enough to have sampled the Hog Penny menu over time. The establishment is a Bermuda fixture but that may be more due to its prime location and folksy bar scene. The menu has disappointed me when compared to other IRG locations such as the Frog & Onion and Pickled Onion. The burgers are average... More

We went to Hog Penny for lunch, and I had been anticipating as had been recommended, however was disappointed with their fish bites, they were overdone and cold, and the on-tap beer was not cold enough for my taste. However the ambiance is very "old london pub" style and the server was very attentive, friendly and prompt. Would try again... More

Enjoy a quiz night, a quick drink, listening to some music and a good meal. All this is available at Hog Penny on Burnaby Street. Great staff and good food and wine selections.

Food was ok...but it was pub grub so my expectations might have been too high. Service was harried a bit and order was not 100% accurate.

Went to Hamilton one evening to find some entertainment. Stopped at this pub but left before 10pm before singer came on. Had a pleasant drink and chat to barman who gave us lots of island info.
