Just finished lunch with friends at The Wharf. We decided on seating indoors due to high temps outside.
Aliecia was our waitress. I ordered the Dynamite sushi, my friends had mushroom chicken breast with fries and shrimp and avocado salad.
The food was delicious and I would order the same again.
The only complaint is that the servers don't check on you often enough to see if anything else is needed.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant, the ambience is great ,today they played motown music from back in the day.

We are locals and met up with another couple in St George for Sunday lunch. The unanimous decision was the Wharf for fish and chips. The outdoor seating is spacious and there were several family groups. As we admired the view and researched the extensive menu more people arrived, several by boat as you can tie up a stones throw from your table.
The fish and chips were pronounced up to their usual high standard and my steak sandwich was legendary in size and deliciousness. My spell checker assures me that deliciousness is a real word.

My sister and I had lunch here on Wednesday, which was excellent. Due to high winds, we had to sit inside, where, although having visited the restaurant before, I had not been. It is clean and inviting (the ladies room was spotless and very welcoming) and the staff are friendly and efficient. The food was fresh, piping hot and well presented and delivered very quickly. Prices are reasonable too. The menu is varied so something for everyone. Definitely a place to go.

Yes I know it’s off season but we have still been greated with smiles and sunshine from locals across the island. We have just visited St George’s and walked into The Wharf for some food. Upon walking in a girl behind the bar gave the eye roll when we asked if we could sit outside - her response “it’s too windy” and then very dismissive when we still wanted to stay for a drink and the view. We then get a different waitress come to our table asking to make our minds up if we want to eat because she needs to take away our cutlery if not...strange and cold no introduction or hello/welcome. We decide to not eat, we don’t want to give our money to miserable people (especially as it is so expensive with gratuity included - no thanks) We have to walk to the bar to pay for our bill (just two drinks) the barmaid is again dismissive of my partner and the other waitress shouts across the restaurant for him to come to her and pay at her station, eye rolling again. So many beautiful places to eat with friendly welcome so avoid this place and give your money to people who are happy for you to be there!

After reading the good reviews, my friend and I decided to dine at the Wharf to celebrate my Bermudian birthday! The restaurant is on the waterfront and over looks the pretty little harbour in the historic town of St George. We were greeted by a miserable looking front of house staff and taken to an outside table even though we had reserved a corner table indoor. We told her about our reservation. Reluctantly, she reseated us indoor but on a middle table even though there were corner tables available. A different staff came over with the menu with no aura of friendliness. After 30 minutes of waiting, we had to flag her to place our order of drink and food. We ordered fish chowder and steamed mussels for starters and grilled seafood and grilled wahoo for mains. The chowder was tasteless. The steamed mussels were off with a third still unopened. We complained to the staff about our starters and were very shocked by her comment offering to recook those unopened mussels. Anyone who eats a varied selection of shellfish knows that unopened cooked mussels are to be avoided because they are off or dead! The staff was obviously either ignorant or playing dumb! Next our appalling mains. The grilled seafood was very salty even two whole lemons failed to do any justice! The wahoo was uncooked in the middle as if it was grilled from frozen. We stopped eating our mains and complained to the staff again and she did nothing to rectify our meals! Not even an offer of a different dish! Feeling very disappointed with the whole dining experience with my birthday dinner now ruined, we just could not wait to leave. The staff then added a 17% gratuity with no discount for those poorly cooked dishes! The arrogant attitude of the staff who were also not attentive, a very slow service, rotten raw ingredients and poorly cooked dishes were the perfect reasons not to set foot here again!

This place has an amazing location over looking the harbour in St George’s. But as per some other reviews the service has a lot to be desired. After being seated we waited at least 10 mins and then I asked if we could order 5 mins later someone took our order. They were very unfriendly. We ordered two glasses of wine but then decided on the bottle. Then after another 5 mins to glasses arrived, they were returned and after another 10 mins our bottle finally arrived. The food was delicious when it arrived but the service spoilt our enjoyment. We left when we eventually got our bill and asked for the service charge to be removed.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. Don't go! Our waiter was grumpy, forgot to place part of our order (the Wahoo fish for my salad) and didn't bring it out until after my dinner companion had already finished eating. On top of that he did not acknowledge his mistake, never mind apologize and did nothing to try and salvage a bad experience. On top of that, my companion ordered the fettuccine alfredo and the sauce was so bad, it separated on her plate! Our hotel actually recommended writing this review. Very unfortunate...go to Wahoo's. So much better food, friendlier staff and better atmosphere!

Stopped here for lunch while waiting for our return ferry to our cruise ship. It was an extremely hot day, we sat outside and did enjoy a beautiful water view, however we were never offered water, service was slow due to a large table next to ours. We ordered a fish sandwich and fish chowder both which were good, however no one checked on us during our entire meal. We had to wait almost 15 minutes just to get our bill which came with a $10 service charge added, when prices are already high at $20 for a fish sandwich, $12 for soup and $14 for drinks this is unacceptable.

The St. Regis recommended this restaurant early in our trip and called to make a reservation for us. When we arrived, the person acting as the “host” acted as though he didn’t know what we were talking about. He sat us outside regardless, which is what we wanted but not near the water. It took our waiter about 15-20 minutes to bring menus to our table and that set the pattern for the evening. Waited another 20 minutes for our drink and food order to be taken. Food arrived 20-30 minutes later. Waiter did not check on us again for probably another 40 minutes or so. There were 2 other wait staff that were very attentive to their tables but we did not receive the same level of service (we had a different waiter). The whole vibe of the restaurant seemed “off” - I can’t quite put my finger on it. The food was just okay.

We had a delicious lunch at this waterfront restaurant. Had a table outside facing St George Bay. Decided to go with the local favorites, Conch Fritters and Wahoo Nuggets. Both were flavorful and not greasy. We splurged and got a bottle of Sauvigon Blanc served very cold with a chilled bucket. Made for a nice afternoon.

Ate here today with my cousins and great aunt. I am here from the states and my cousins are here from Canada to celebrate my aunts 85th birthday. The meal was amazing as was the service. It was what happened after that blew my mind. My aunt doesn’t walk real well and we needed to call a taxi to get her home even tho she only lives a 1/2 mile away. The taxi didn’t want to waste their time with such a small fare so the manager on duty, Lisa, offered to take us home because she knew my aunt couldn’t possibly make the walk. Not only did she take us home, but when we offered her a tip for her amazing gesture, she refused and said she couldn’t possibly accept it. She said she was just glad that she could help. Needless to say, this was WAY above great restaurant service and solidified that we will be regular customers of The Wharf every time we are in Bermuda! Thank you Lisa for your kindness and generosity for my aunt! See you again next time! God bless you!

We got stranded by the ferry on return to our cruise ship for a couple hours. Famished, we decided to try The Wharf for a beer and Bermudian cuisine. While the beer selections were pretty pedestrian, the food looked great!
It was evident by the unsmiling demeanor of the wait staff that they were stressed and focused on customer thru-put, so we felt good just to get immediate seating at a clean, well-distanced table topped with hand sanitizer.
The waiter was agreeable & accommodating. He worked very efficiently when i asked if we would be served before the ferry returned.
We split a Wahoo Fish sandwich on raisin bread (traditional style). It was served with fresh, hot, crispy fries and mayonnaise. The fish was thick and slightly dry, like a chicken breast. In fact, my companion thought it was chicken! We enjoyed it.
The Seafood Chowder was spicy, flavorful and filling. Highly recommended!
I would recommend The Wharf highly except for the unfortunate vibe we felt from each employee there. I hope this changes, because indeed the cuisine was very good.

We had lunch here on a Tuesday. Few other diners were there, so that may have been key to our good experience. We did not find any other restaurants in St. George's that were this elegant. This one is good for a special occasion or a last night in the St. George's area. Dinner entrees look very pricey, though fish entrees are less so, and at lunch, there were specials. We sat on the porch, where both shade and heat are available. My husband has been trying the Bermuda fish chowder everywhere, and he has made space in the top 3 for the Wharf's version, which had big pieces of fish and was served with cruets of pepper and rum (This is traditional, but you don't get it everywhere.) I had the Wharf salad and the Mahi Mahi special. The salad was very fresh, had some unusual ingredients (you have to like blue cheese), and was served with just the right amount of dressing on the side. I was hesitant to order the Mahi Mahi because it came with rice, which I'm starting to overdose on, but actually, the waiter offered me a choice of starches without my even asking. The restaurant is very pretty inside, but at this time of year (spring), you want to be outside. There are many tables on the wharf itself, but we chose the porch and enjoyed it. The service was fine--not too fast, not too slow, nothing forgotten or mixed up.

Can't beat sitting on the dock in late December! Clean and friendly, service was fast, but not too fast so you enjoy the scenery, good food. We had our first wahoo nugget experience here and they were very good, served with fries. I had the Tuna Melt which was very good, but could have used more tuna salad which was a bit sparse. My daughter had the Fettuchini Alfredo which came with chicken and mushrooms. This meal was plentiful, though sparse on chicken daughter stated, but very good. My husband enjoyed his Club sandwhich. Overall, a great place.

We decided to eat here because the view was really pretty from the outside tables. The service was excellent and although the menu felt a little less interesting than some other restaurants, the food we ordered was great. The Bermuda fish chowder equalled the best that I’ve had and I’ve been coming for 40 years… I also had conch fritters, which were excellent. And they make a good margarita . I would definitely come again.
