My friend and I stayed at the charming Cambridge Beaches Resort and thought it would be very fitting to dine at Tamarisk. Its perfect location certainly gave guarantee to the heavenly beautiful view of the azure blue ocean! The clean pastel coloured interior brought romantic feel to the whole dining ambiance. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We had the wahoo burger and fish curry. Both were equally flavoursome, scrumptious especially the divine fish curry. Curry being one of my many favourites and I certainly never thought I would say that in Bermuda about curry. Credit to the in house Sri Lankan chef that evening! We will definitely be returning, not only to lunch and dine but also to stay purely because the whole resort is romantically fabulous and the sterling service of its staff!

Food is interesting and delicious. We were happy to be able to eat outdoors, for health reasons. There is an incredible buffet Mon. nights, with an extensive variety of foods. Local Bermuda residents come in for this buffet.

If you like a old style, country club experience this place is for you. Big, open room with the windows facing the bay. Old fashion service with little bit of too much
Of attention to you needs. Not that many choices for appetizers and main courses, but everything (at least the dishes we had) is solid. Great wine list, but obviously overpriced, as everything around here. Overall it was a good meal, but wish they would try something outside of the box.

The Tamarisk is an impressive space - I just love all of the plants that line the steps leading into the building. The outdoor dining space is welcoming too. We ate breakfast here only once during our August staycation. I am not convinced that the breakfast is value for money since I was hardly impressed with eggs being one price and anything additional being at an extra cost. I've had breakfast experiences in restaurants globally and here in Bermuda and breakfast offerings have been more wholistic. To top it off, our waiter completely forgot about the fruit bowl that I'd ordered with every intention to eat my fruit first. The order was cancelled. Given the service and attention meted out by waiters at Breezes, both my husband and I found this breakfast experience an anticlimax to our stay.

We ate at this restaurant a number of times while staying at The Beachs Resort and spa. Recommend you take the breakfast included package. Outstanding buffet with all choices you could want including special requests. Although a little expensive compared to mailand restaurants th food at dinner was 5+ in presentation and taste. We especially enjoyed the private beach dinner but make sure you are prepared for the cost. It was an outstanding experience that we would repeat without question.

My wife and I, upon having a truly memorable week at Cambridge Beaches, wanted the perfect place to end the week in a high note. And couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant. Staff was responsive, friendly, and flexible. The food was outstanding. And the ambiance was other-worldly with great views as the sun went down. A must do every time we visit now!

The seafood here is excellent. The starters in particular were full of fantastic, fresh and vibrant flavour.
This is a very romantic spot with excellent food. The only thing stopping this from being 5 stars is that it's a but too stuffy and formal compared to some of the other fine dining restaurants on the island. I'd still more than happily go again though and would certainly recommend it.

On average it is just about a 4 star experience, although the BBQ buffet is more for the locals and bookings tend to get lost.

My wife and I are staying at the Cambridge Beaches where the restaurant is located.
We had dinner at Tamarisk on our first night at hotel.
The restaurant setting is very nice with open air dinning overlooking Mangrove Bay and the pool. The inside dining room was very warm since it was a very warm and muggy evening so outside we ate. Never understood why people run air conditioning then open doors letting heat and humidity into space???????
There was live entertainment, a trio who played nice tunes.
The service was very good!
The food was just ok. It was uninspiring and bland. Portions and presentation was nice but can’t give the kitchen anymore than that. Prices for main dishes range from mid $30 to low $40. For this price point I was expecting more. Wine list is ok.
The restaurant serves breakfast daily for guest at the hotel. It’s a buffet with a broad selection of hot and cold items along with an omelet station.

We were with a group of 10 people on Monday, July 22nd to celebrate a birthday and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was really good. Beautiful location and the food was great. There were a few drawbacks however, 1. confusion near the cold salad bar. Could not find the plates or the beginning of the line. 2. Waiter was not very attentive and at one point dropped off a menu for drink order and never took our order. 3. confusion over the bill. Suggestions: Perhaps a few more wait staff for such a large event would be good. 2. Plates for the salad bar should be more visible or on a separate table for easy access. Overall a great evening was had by all.

Beautifull setting overlooking the bay. Service was friendly and responsive. not hovering over you. Interesting choices on menu. food was excellent and portions were good.. we left satisfied but not stuffed.. We had the Mahi Mahi special and it was very good - was garnised with corn bread, corn, pieces of shrimp and more .. alot of flavors help set up the fish beautifully. Fresh fruit with a sorbet ended the meal in style. Highly recommend!

Monday night summer BBQ buffet - very organized selection of dishes for all.
First the staff were not attentive. They took the drinks after the buffet, on 2 occasions the wrong drinks served. Also, the tables were unstable the drinks kept tipping over with 1 glass shattering on the table.
DJ Uncle is entertaining as usual. However, this time many locals were celebrating. It was too many shouts or speeches from the groups celebrating retirement, re-location of end of school for the teachers. DJ Uncle always acknowledging the celebrations that is adequate. There should be no need for the patrons to take the mike making speeches cutting into valuable dancing time. We ended our evening early after the spectacular sunset.

We read about this restaurant before we left for our trip. We chose this to be our last meal of our Bermuda stay. We anticipated a 5 star meal. Boy were we disappointed. The meal was bland at best. The best was the chocolate lava cake for desert. This place needs a new chef ... the STAFF is the best. Only they prevented a 2 star review.

We stayed at the hotel so ate here on several occasions as well as having breakfasts, we found the food to be of high quality with some specials every evening. The meat was of particularly high standard cooked as we liked it and asked for. The staff were very attentive and you couldn't have asked for more from them. Again there are the options of eating inside or outside subject to the weather and your individual choice.

We had a lovely birthday dinner here recently. My fish and my friend's pork dinners were delicious. We had a nice table outside with a water view. The drinks and dessert were ordered were tasty as well. Service was good.
