We spent 4 days at Barbuda Cottages and ate at Uncle Roddy's everyday. The food was fresh, well prepared and the atmosphere was relaxed and accommodating...perfect for a beach getaway. Uncle Roddy prepared both lunch and dinner based on our request and his restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend!

When you visit Uncle Roddy's you are no longer a visitor but a member of the family. Great food from Grilled lobster and barracuda to ribs, chicken and conchs.

Uncle Roddy is proudly on deck to deliver lobster, pork or chicken with a surprisingly decent wine offering. Armed with a bbq, his meals are simple but delicious and made better still by the setting, service and company. His knowledge of the island and laid back yet professional attitude are a great match to the modest dining patio alongside one... More

We were anchored off Coco Point and called Roddy for lunch. He was booked, but said he could accommodate us for dinner. He drove a few miles down the beach and picked us up where we'd dinghied to shore. Enjoyed a stroll on his beach with a rum drink and talked with a delightful local who was fishing from shore.... True Caribbean food we had a mixture of lobster chicken and fish and all enjoyed it very much. You wouldn't leave hungry and the service was always with a bit smile and nothing too much trouble

We arranged a local taxi, to pick us up at the end of the private airfield for coco point lodge after taking the dinghy in from the boat.Uncle Roddy is such a great guy , we all had a lobster each, salad and local vegetables about $60 a head , accompanied by several rum punches. A memorable evening .

Back on Barbuda for the third time in three years and back at Uncle Roddy's! It would be inconceivable to visit Barbuda without visiting Uncle Roddy. Four of us popped in for dinner twice, first time lobster and fish, second time chicken and fish. As always the food is perfect. However good as the food is Roddy himself is the... More

Roddy is a charming host and serves everything with a smile and a warm welcome. His beer is ice cold and the setting is fabulous next to Barbuda cottages. I had lobster grilled with plantain and salad and garlic bread. it's really worth the trip out of the village or from your hotel/guest house to this Barbuda landmark.

We enjoyed our second trip to Barbuda even more than the first 3 years ago. Our lobster dinners at Uncle Roddy's were just as wonderful as the last time..and of course the drinks are tasty too. Sad to learn of the demise of the lime tree from last time's fresh picks for my G&T's! Roddy is an excellent host and... More
