Really good food. First you have to wash your hands before you enter the building. Very clean inside. Had the Curry Chicken and Shrimp. Both dishes were delicious. Fresh Roti bread, fresh lemonade. Great stop when leaving the National Park.
My wife and I were traveling around the island when we drove by this place with our windows down. The smell alone made us turn around and give it a shot. We were absolutely amazed! Being restaurant owners as well, it takes a lot to...impress us anymore. That said, the garlic chicken was great. My wife had the BBQ chicken, and we both loved it as well. We also had a great talk with the owner. What a wonderful woman!! She told us about the goat dish.... guess we really will try anything!! Dont just get stuck in the high rise or downtown areas. Wander around a bit, and try this gem while youre at it. I know we'll back soon!!More
Perfect stop after seeing the street murals in San Nicolas and en route to Baby beach.
Covid compliant- clean and breezy restaurant. Dinners were reminded to wash hands at the washbasin at the entrance. Good distance between tables. Everyone wore masks unless you were sitting...at your table.
The food was delicious. Everything was very flavoursome! Both chicken and goat curry were great but the goat curry was simply the best!! I ordered it on the owner’s recommendation. The very friendly owner was also happy to make my curry a bit more spicy to my taste. The roti were soft and flaky. The little wontons were so crispy and surprisingly moorish. I also loved the sweet fried plantains. I had cutlery and as many napkins as I needed.More
first off, the food is really good.... the thing that bothered me was the service and also how critical the owner was. 1. I really like spicy food and she was very controlling about her hot sauce she told me i'm "not supposed to use...a lot of hot sauce because its really spicy. 2. I LOVE spicy and to me the hot sauce isn't that spicy so don't tell me how to eat. If it's a money thing then just charge me for using the hot sauce instead of bullying me while I'm trying to eat. Also she criticized me for wanting a fork to eat because you're "supposed to eat with your hands... look I get that its the authentic way but were going through a pandemic and i don't want to eat with my hands at this time. Get over yourself.More
We stopped here for lunch on our way to Baby Beach. Customer service was great, owner was very friendly we had a great talk with him. Clean establishment, great space. My husband and I really enjoyed our meals, I must say my curry chicken was...EXCELLENT. Nice spice, flavor, very tasty. I ate every last bit with the roti. A must stop for a bite on your way to Baby Beach!More
The food is delicious, the staff is delightful and Kamini is one of the most pleasant people on the island. I have been coming to Aruba for years and no matter where I stay I always travel down to Kamini's at...least 3x for the best food in Aruba period.More
I think the person who wrote the review before mine must have lost his or her sense of taste recovering from the Rona because I thought the food tasted fantastic. I had the veggie curry stir fry which was flavorful and hearty. The gentleman serving...us was friendly and attentive. I was impressed that they had bottled craft beer from a local brewery also. Highly recommend adding this place to your list of “must visits”!More
got the boneless curry chicken roti dish and bbq fried chicken and ribs. they were both okay. i think i overhyped it in my head. pretty out of the way if you’re not already down south. customer service didn’t make the meal more enjoyable. i...thought that was her natural demeanor, which is fine, but she was laughing and friendly with the table next to us. can’t recall doing or saying anything rude so not sure why we received unfavorable treatment.
regardless of service, it was just okay for me.More
Our family stopped at Kamini’s Kitchen on our way back from Baby Beach. This was the perfect lunch to top off a long beach day. The mussels in garlic sauce and shrimp curry were SO good. Our 6 year old daughter is a picky eater,...and even she ate all the skewered chicken and said it was delicious. One of the best places to eat in Aruba hands down!More
