Azia has truly grown to be one of my favorite spots to eat, drink, and hangout at on the island! On our three week stay here we had to push ourselves to actually go and try other restaurants. They have a very chic and “Instagram worthy” outdoor dining area and a quieter more cozy atmosphere inside. They have tables by the bar that we loved sitting at to talk to the bartenders and get their recommendations as well. My favorites from the menu are the chicken dumplings, wonton soup, orange chicken (amazing!), and the stir fry veggies. I have always been a very picky and health conscious eater and I would eat here 8 days a week. The summer punch also grew to be my favorite drink but the Tom yang martini came in at a close second! I cannot specify just one person either because all of the servers and bartenders were respectful and attentive to anything we needed. The meal/drinks can get expensive but everything is exquisitely made so waiting a little longer or paying a little extra are certainly worth it here. The manager runs a great ship here!

My son and I have been to Aruba many times and always like to try new restaurants. We tried Azia last night and are glad we did. As other reviewers have posted the restaurant is VERY cool in terms of decor, especially inside, though we preferred to eat outside because of COVID and the beautiful weather. Even the outdoor space is nice. When I walked through the indoor space (on the way to the restroom) I said to myself that I felt like I was in some high end club-type restaurant in Las Vegas. The drinks were really good and interesting. Food was solid. We shared a sushi appetizer (can’t remember the name but it had cream cheese on top which sounds weird but is delicious). Spring rolls very good too. I had a beef dish and my son had the sea bass which we both really enjoyed. My dish wasn’t that big but the portion of sea bass was very respectable. Our waiter was Keith, who was really good. Overall, the service was very impressive and the restaurant was actually busy compared to other places nearby. To be clear, I mean “busy” in the sense that the tables were filled, not that they were too close together given COVID. Restaurant seems to be taking social distancing seriously which I liked. Prices were not cheap, but I’ve paid more for much less enjoyable meals on the island, It is “tourist” prices, which I don’t mind when the food and service are strong which they are here. This restaurant is part of the Gianni’s chain of restaurants, I believe. We tried Gianni’s many years ago and never went back (perhaps it has improved), so were a little hesitant to try a sister restaurant, but are very glad we did. A very fun place, with good service, very good food and a wide selection of dishes.

The dining experience was fantastic. We had been dining outside during the week at other restaurants, but the atmosphere inside was awesome and unique with an eclectic feeling. Keith our server was very enthusiastic and provided great dining recommendations. When My wife’s drink was did not taste quite right, even though she was reluctant to ask for another drink, he insisted on getting a replacement which turned out much better. The Aruba Beef and Sesame Chicken was great, especially the heated stone with the beef. Unfortunately we dined on the last day of our visit, otherwise we would have gone back again during the week. Definitely will dine here again when back to Aruba.

Great food, horrible service. We made a reservation at 6pm for 7:30pm and they asked us if we would like to sit inside or outside. We did say outside while making the reservation. When we returned after 1.5 hours there were no outdoor tables available. After waiting for a couple of minutes a table became available. We both ordered soup as starter, but only 1 soup was served while we clearly pointed out on the menu which soups we would like. After we informed our waitress about the missing soup the main course (sushi) of one of us was already served, but still no soup. This came at 8:30 pm while we were seated for almost an hour and the restaurant to close in 30 mins due to the curfew. Our drinks (simple soft drinks) were by the way only served 30 minutes after we placed our order. As a compensation for above events the manager offered a Prosecco from the house. The main course was served at 08:45, 70 minutes after we were seated so we had to rush to finish our dinner. When we asked the bill we noticed that the two Prosecco’s from the house were put on the bill. We of course got this deleted, but to summarize almost everything what could go wrong went wrong.

We arrived at Azia at 6:00 on 7/28/21 and were promptly seated. When we arrived, there were probably four other tables with two or more guests , but largely empty. First off, everything is a la cart and main dishes do not come with any rice or vegetables. We ordered edamame as an appetizer which came promptly. It took about 45 to 50 minutes to receive our main courses, and when it finally did come, it was pretty underwhelming and frankly disappointing. I ordered the miso salmon which was good, but I’ve had much better versions. My wife ordered the beef stir fry which was also a big disappointment. It was very dry and bland with a sauce resembling ordinary soy sauce. For sides we ordered saffron rice which was incredible dry almost like it had been sitting out for two days, and sesame broccoli which was steam broccoli covered in soy sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds. The restaurant was beautiful inside, but because of the wait for food, a la cart menu, and food quality, I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be returning. Frankly, the worst meal I’ve ever had in Aruba.

My partner and I booked a reservation at Azia a few weeks early to celebrate our one year anniversary. Being a pandemic couple who didn't have an opportunity to celebrate our marriage with a wedding, celebrating our one year held a lot of anticipatory excitement. As soon as we entered the restaurant, each host/hostess greeted us with a happy anniversary and made sure to pass it along to any staff member assisting us. Taking our vegetarian diet into account, they were able to share with us the best dishes on and off the menu. While the ambiance added to the romantic nature of the experience, the extra care from the staff to make a memorable experience for us made the visit incredible. This of course only scratches the surface of the full experience: the food was AMAZING and service was incredible. Take it from me, order the eggplant tempura roll. Your palate will thank you. One thing I would suggest is instead of bringing us a free desert to celebrate, we wish that they would have just comped the one we ordered. We ended up with two desserts unfinished, as we had already incredibly filling meals, but we did love the extra thought that went into creating a display for our anniversary dessert. Thank you Azia for making it a memorable experience.

We ate at the Daniels Steak and Chophouse which is owned by the same Gianni group and received a coupon for free gelato's at Azia. We were rather disappointed with the overall service and definitely the food. First, they asked us if we had any allergies, and I replied seafood. The waitress proceeded to bring out shrimp chips and peanut sauce. We asked for something other than shrimp chips and were told there wasn't anything else unless we paid for something. I volunteered to take some of the bread from Daniels next door and was told no. Out came our Korean BBQ ribs which had to be the worst I've ever had. There was nothing Korean about them and they were extremely tough. If people like these then they've never had the real Korean BBQ ribs. Mongolian beef was next and it was a tiny dish with blank sauce. No flavor whatsoever. The rest of the dishes were all the same - blandly spiced, lacking flavor, and definitely not what even a low end Asian restaurant would serve. Overall not worth the money that we spent and would suggest that you go next door to Daniel's instead, albeit it's an entirely different cuisine!

Very surprised to see this rated so highly. The sushi was nearly inedible, even for my normally easy going other half. We got “happy family” dumplings which was a sample of all the different dumplings they offer. They tasted like the microwave weight watchers ones. The spring rolls were okay but saturated with oil inside. The tuna roll was okay, the other roll (TNT) was imitation crab meat and therefore tasted like canned meat. It also fell apart at the touch. Udon noddles were among the worst we’ve eaten. This is probably a great place for a 20-something to come for cocktails and an appetizer, but for a romantic sushi dinner this is absolutely not the place. Service was great (too great, they tried to take my plate three times when I was still eating). We would never recommend this to anyone. Disappointed we wasted a night here.

Dear Rachel, We are sorry we failed to meet your expectations, there were so many items you didn’t enjoy. We have made sure that the kitchen is made aware of this. Here at Azia quality of ingredients & service is of utmost importance. Would you please contact our marketing & sales director at marketing@giannisgroep.com with reference to Azia with the date and time, so we can personally address this.

We have been traveling to Aruba for 15 years. I can count the poor meals that we have had on one hand. This was one of them. I usually never write a review of a restaurant, good or bad, but I was so disappointed with my experience at Azia that I feel obligated to submit this. Don't go to Azia if you are hungry! Both the food and the service were terrible. Our meal consisted of miniscule, bland, overpriced portions. The restaurant is very dark. They must think that this helps to hide the paltry servings... For example, the Mongolian Beef was 5 small pieces of beef in a brown sauce ($27). I wish that I was exaggerating by saying that our order of Udon Noodles had more than six noodles in a bowl with some vegetables ($9), but it is true; we could count them. Happy Family is a small family at best and not very tasty ($21). We also ordered Orange Chicken ($21), Chinese Rice ($9), and Spring Rolls ($5.5). The owner did give us a card for free gelato as we walked in the door. We decided to skip it. It would have probably only been a 1/2 scoop of gelato anyway... Unfortunately, we left hungry and I made a sandwich when I got home. The service left a lot to be desired. It took a long time for the kitchen to prepare this small amount of food. How long can it take to boil 6 noodles? The waitress did not even return to see if we needed anything else, like another drink, or just check in on how we were doing, or something that should be a given like refill the water glasses. If you want great Chinese food and great service, go around the corner to Blossoms. The food is excellent and you will not leave feeling hungry or ripped off.

This restaurant will win you over with the decor - Asian inspired meets trendy nightclub. The drinks will pack a punch and the dim sum and appetizers are top shelf. I highly recommend the Tuna Bon Bon for a nice alteration of tuna nigiri. Where they fall short however is with the entrees. We had Chicken Kung Pao and Chicken Teriyaki and couldn’t taste a difference at all!! The gelato rounded out the meal and was very interesting - ginger; lychee; green tea; and dark chocolate coconut. Overall a great experience with good food. Price for family of four was $126 USD before tip for two drinks, two entrees, three appetizers and dessert.

Just returned back from Aruba and ate at Azia. The food and service were absolutely amazing. We had our 18 month old with us and they were extremely friendly. My son had an egg allergy and we informed them in the beginning of the meal and they were able to accommodate us and make numerous dishes without egg products. Sandra the manager was extremely nice and stopped by our table numerous times check on us. I had the Aruba rocks for dinner medium rare and it came out perfect. Definitely a must try as well as the other restaurants that they own next store Daniels steak house and Giannis Italian. First time in Aruba and have friends going in the next few weeks and recommended these 3 restaurants to them

We stopped in spur of the moment and were drawn in by the beautiful ambiance. We had sushi rolls and saki and the best service by Strawberry. She was so sweet and very attentive to us. We had such a great time she really made our experience special. The sushi rolls were very good they made a few alterations to our likings which we were very appreciative of. We enjoyed it so much we brought our friends back and although it was Strawberrys day off we had excellent service from Cesar. He recommended Aruba rocks tenderloin and it was the best tenderloin on the island. It was melt in your mouth tender and we loved it. I can't express enough how great service from Strawberry and Cesar made the experience special. We will be going back again before we leave. Thanks for a really great evening.

The food sucked. Morons offered bottle or sparkling water off the bat so they can charge 11 bucks for a bottle of water!!.. They can't cook worth a crap...Mongolian beef sucked.. the orange chicken was horrible.. and fried rice.. forget about it... The owner is a moron thinking he is serving Asian food with a bogus chef.

Thank you for your feedback. At AZIA, we are always open to receiving all reviews, positive or negative. However, we are extremely surprised to read that you found the quality of the food to be subpar. Our manager and waitstaff passed by your table throughout the night, and you never mentioned that you were unhappy. If you did, we would have had no problem replacing said food items. We regret that you did not enjoy your dining experience with us, and add that we will always welcome you with pleasure once again. Kind regards, Management, AZIA

Overall a good restaurant. Pricy and portions were tiny compared to other restaurants in the area which offered more food per dollar. Horrible value. If you are looking for a hearty meal, look elsewhere in the area.

I wanted to start this review out by saying I do not do these reviews very offen I think I have only done 5 or 6 so that in it's self means somethong. I was on the Island for 10 days and I went everynight except one. Not always to have dinner ( Which by the way the food is spectacular like the Mongolian beef ) but I went each night to have 2 or 3 pornstar Martini's and visit with my island family. I was alone on the island and the staff here ( Bartenders - Johnny, Carlos and james as well as the manager Sandra ) welcomed me with open arms which made me feel like I was Norm from the TV show Cheers. I was greeted with a big hello and we talked about the day and what exiting things I did. I would truly recomment Azia as one of your definate dinner reservations stops as well as several other restaurants they own like Daniel's ( great steak house ), Gianni's ( great Italian ) and Amore Mio . I am excited to go back next year and introduce my family to my Arubian family at Azia's so they can see first hand what fine dinnng is all about
