As a lover of culinary cuisine, and traveling solo, I was inspired to book the Kitchen Table. This is an 8 course meal served in an intimate setting therefore it's inevitable to meet new people and make friends while enjoying a unique and delicious menu...with a mix of seafood and meat dishes. I was reluctant at first to take the wine pairing but I'm happy I did, as the wines aligned beautifully with each dish and made the experience complete.More

This is an excellent restaurant to have a truly unique group dinner experience. All 8 courses were absolutely fabulous. Two couples were previously unknown to our group but the rest was all of our friends and seated "in the round" to enjoy each other's company...along with the excellent meal. The Chefs/hosts were very pleasant and engaging and it made for a very special dining experience.More

What a wonderful evening with our newly found family! The chef creations were fantastic, the wine well paired, and the ambiance was lovely. Each course was beautifully plated and the flavors were amazing. The aspect that was most unexpected was our hosts’ ability to create...a family out of a group of complete strangers…which made the evening unforgettable. What an experience!More

Away from home, on vacation, it is wonderful to come to a place where you are treated as family. The kitchen table is that place where they will customize the menu and create a social, relaxed gourmet experience you will remember for years to come....We are so grateful to the team- they customized a vegetarian/pescatarian experience for us that was memorable and delicious!More

This was a unique and exquisite dinner experience. This restaurant seats about 6-7 couples for a preset and surprise menu (although they did accommodate pre informed food restrictions). We were warmly greeted with welcome Prosecco drinks downstairs were we met the other couples. Then led...upstairs to a beautifully set group table where we had a very tasty 8 course meal. I really can’t say enough about the quality and effort put into the food resulting in a delicious meal with very pleasant company, both local and international guests. Every course was rung in with a bell and explanation. The presentation of the courses were beautiful. I really can’t recommend this restaurant enough.More

I highly recommend this experience if you are going to Aruba. It was a meal to remember in an atmosphere that was welcoming and lovely. You start by meeting the host downstairs with a glass of champagne, you are instructed to mingle with the other...guests and become “family”. As a shy person this almost always terrifies me but in this environment it felt natural. There were 12 of us total and it was a varied group of people re backgrounds and prior experience on the island. You are ushered upstairs to begin the meal, the first course is a snack of a chicken empanada and ceviche. Delicious. The ceviche was so fresh and the lime juice it was cured in added just the right amount of citrus to offset the fish. The empanada was crisp with the appropriate amount of filling. A scallop dish followed, this was also cold and refreshing. I dislike onion and there was a generous amount of red onion on the top of this dish, I still ate most of it and enjoyed it. The scallops were sliced perfectly. The octopus appetizer was next, one of my favorites. It was over a potato purée with black olive and Russian dressing sauces. Everyone cleaned their plates on this one. The octopus was tender and my only complaint was it was an appetizer and not an entree. I could have eaten more of this one. Then came the beef soup. This was less visually stunning but it was absolutely delicious. The broth was so flavorful. Intermission began. We were escorted out to the rooftop pool and given a glass of Prosecco and lemon sorbet as a palate cleanser. More mingling occurred. One of the guests seemed to be hitting on the host. The rest of us were talking about the food. We went back in for the entrees. First up was Mahi Mahi over tomato risotto. This was my personal favorite of the entrees. The fish was cooked so well and the risotto was incredible. The last entree was veal tenderloin stroganoff. This course was a big hit with the crowd as well. The veal was very tender and the stroganoff was not heavy at all. The sauce was filled with fresh mushrooms, again the knife work on the mushrooms was impeccable. Finally it was time for dessert, we had a mojito passion fruit popsicle to start, this one was astounding because a popsicle shouldn’t be that interesting but it was. Underneath was a cookie crumble and the accompaniments kept the popsicle from being too sweet. It was impressive because I think it was the one I was the least excited about and it was my favorite. Lastly we had a chocolate mousse with mango sorbet and it was as good as it sounded. It was light and the sweetness was offset by the sorbet. It was my birthday and one of the other guests told them so they made my plate special. The last thing we received was a take home box of two macarons. Also perfect and delicious. The Kitchen Table is a 5/5 for ambiance, hospitality and the food.More

Since I don’t drink champagne, we were graciously offered a choice of red or white wine pre dinner and again as we sat down for an array of an 8 courses tapas sized meal. Aside from the main dish of mahi mahi, which tasted dry...and slightly overcooked, all the other dishes were incredibly tasty and unique. We were given time to digest in the middle of the courses and enjoy a Prosecco drink outside. I declined since I don’t drink bubbly drinks. We were handed a lovely packed box of 2 macaroons to go, but they were way too sweet for me. All in all, dining was a lovely experience.More

Through out our many years visiting Aruba we have tried all the Chef Table experiences and I must say this was the most fun we’ve had. From the outdoor warmup with Prosecco to meet our family for the night until the 8th and final course...was served we laughed and made new friends. Andres and Jan have perfected the presentation for this wonderful evening. My only issue was the food was good but some of the dishes were just okay.More

Eight wonderful courses, welcoming hosts and an engaging team. The Kitchen Table was a very special evening during our Aruba vacation. We dined at the same table with other vacationers. Yes! There is time on the deck before going in to the restaurant, and each course is explained and served. It doesn't feel like four hours.
