We were very excited to walk to the Hyatt to try Mexicado. The atmosphere is very nice, however, when we were seated I noticed the man behind the bar (who ended up being our server, Hubert) was openingly reading a book. Two other tables of...larger parties were seated after us, ordered after us (with a different server), but received their food before us while I watched Hubert read his book at the bar. However, a different gentleman prepared our guacamole table side. He was great. The guacamole was very good as well as the desserts were good (flan and tres leche). My husband also liked the Enchiladas Entomatadas. I had the empanada caritas for my meal which were almost inedible. The meat inside was fried to a crisp and the pastry was dried and overcooked.More

We ate dinner here during our stay at Hyatt Regency Resort and Casino. The decor was very nice and we enjoyed be seated on the outside patio next to the pond. The food was good and the margaritas excellent.

We were actually able to order from Mexicado through in room dining at the Hyatt. The fish tacos here are TOP NOTCH. Might be top 3 of fish tacos I have ever had. The rice and beans were fantastic and the seasoning was top notch....My wife and I wish we had time to eat in the restaurant itself as it looked marvelous from outside.More

Restaurant was not very busy, so that should have been our first clue. Guacamole was fairly good, but the salsa was like marinara sauce. They brought us the green salsa as an alternative, and it was worse. Margaritas were ok, but when they told us...the terrible salsa was on the other dishes, we decided to go somewhere else. They need to change their recipe!!! Would not recommend.More

We went for all you can eat fajitas on Friday night for $29. The fajita meat was very good. I was very hungry and had visions of getting a second portion by could barely finish my first portion. It wasn’t all spiced up like American-Mexican....Not a lot of strong fajita seasoning but still very good. Service was great. I like when they refill the water a lot. The atmosphere was very nice we sat by the water and watched the swans and fish. Probably never ate at a Mexican restaurant with such good ambiance. A margarita came with my fajitas and I’m not a big drinker but I really liked it. In the world of margaritas it was a small one but perfect size for me. It went perfect with the fajita. They brought chips and salsa. I read other reviews about the salsa and I have to agree. It tastes like an Italian spicy marinara sauce. Surely it would be easy to make from scratch a better salsa?? Salsa is so easy. It needs to taste Latino/Spanish/Mexican not Italian! That’s my only complaint. We had the spicy brownie for dessert. The first taste is this amazing gourmet chocolate brownie flavor. The after taste is very spicy and hot which is a little odd. We still liked it. Probably wouldn’t give it to kids-too hot for them. All in all we lived this place and will try it again next year:)More

The ambiance and service is excellent, but the food is terrible. The ceviche had no flavor, the salsa same thing. We had a fried whole fish which was ok but overall I would compare the food to a high school cafeteria, cheap, flavorless, and boring....Our waiter recommended a nice wine for half off wine bottles 60% chard 40% torrentes. The waiter seemed upset that I didn’t tip extra. Gratuity was already included. I recommend you avoid it.More

Food is very good, but I wish portion sizes were a little bigger. Service is very quick and attentive as always.
