Today we had the delivery local special, choosing different dishes starting from only $10. Just like last month, delivery was on spot, the food still hot (from Noord to Arikok) and the flavours are amazing.
An absolute bargain at this price, fastfood is more expensive.
Superb!

As anyone who as traveled to Aruba knows, the food is very expensive there. Tandoor The Indian Grill House not only has excellent quality food but the prices don't break the bank either. We were visiting for about 9 days and had dinner or lunch there 6 times. The portion sizes were fairly large and each meal was fantastic. The manager was always very polite and helpful. Anyone who is looking for an Indian "fix" on vacation in Aruba should definitely hit up Tandoor.

We were happy to see Indian cuisine after seeing a lot of pizza, pasta, seafood, fast food. This restaurant is in the busy restaurant area of Palm Beach near the Hilton Hotel. You'll see a Japanese restaurant sign and an escalator. Take the escalator up and Tandoor is on the left. Look for Indian statues outside. Like many of the Indian restaurants I've been to in other countries there was a tv showcasing Bollywood dance videos, various displays of Indian art, and a familiar menu of popular dishes. We were promptly seated among the middle tables and could look out the taj mahal shaped windows adorned with glimmering lights (almost like Diwali lights). They have seating for two, four, and can accommodate larger groups. There is a private room in the back as well.
The server brought over a complimentary plate of papadum and three chutneys for three. We ordered a dal makhana (comes with choice of rice or naan; we got the butter garlic naan), and samosa. For a drink I ordered the ‘passion art’ mocktail. We were asked how spicy we wanted the dal and I noted to be sure it was mild. The dal was still very spicy (even for us who frequently eat Indian food, and some can handle spicy). We asked for a little plain yogurt to help tone down the spice. (they charged us extra 3.50 just for this cup of yogurt, which seemed a bit excessive) The naan was hard, didn’t have much garlic flavor, and was dripping in butter. Not the best, but manageable with the dal. Doesn’t taste good once it gets cold. The samosas were decent. Do not order the mocktail. Half the drink is ice, and the remainder is syrupy sweet. The impression the menu gave was it would be fresh juice but seemed like all canned fruit juice. The menu notes there were fresh strawberries but didn’t see any in the drink. I’d skip this drink as it was way too sweet and mainly full of ice.
Overall, okay Indian food. Good if you want some variety in your dining experience in Aruba. They have a page with vegetarian options. Walk-ins are accepted if no reservation. Many were also taking food to go.

The place was barely occupied when we got there, that should have been the first clue.
When ordering the food, it was requested that no carrots or peppers on the salad. When the salad arrived, it was loaded with, carrots , and peppers.
Ordered a dish that stated it was minced lamb, that was cooked in tomato and onions , when it arrived, it was rolls of lamb, on a bed of onions, on a sizzling plate. The waitstaff could have cared less!
It was never touched, nor was the salad.
There was no customer service, although, the waitstaff wanted to lecture me as to how it was made.
There are far too many wonderful restaurants around, this one had its chance, will never go back again, nor recommend it to anyone.

I am sorry for the experience, but you ordered for Sheekh Kabab and that is what was served to you.

My husband and went there last night. The service was very slow. Very long period of waiting. We ordered Curried Fish and a Vegetable dish. When it was fin-
ally served to us, we couldn't believe what we received.
I was brought a small cup size of vegetables with a cup size of rice. There was nothing special about the veggies at all. And they arrived lukewarm. I would have said something, but it would have upset my husband.
My Husband received a cup size of fish, though there was very little fish. It was 90% curry sauce. The other cup had curry vegetables, again nothing special at all.
It was cool in the restaurant and my husband didn't have a jacket. So he had 3 cups of coffee. When we got our bill, we had been charged $3.00 for every refill!
Choose this eatery only if you are not very hungry, don't mind waiting a while on your food and Covid-19 has ripped away your taste buds!

WORST INDIAN RESTAURANT. They call this Indian food? I am From India and I know what Indian food tastes like and I took my boyfriend to this restaurant and believe me when I tell you it was awful. Don’t waste your money. I made reservation and we were the only couple all night. It had 4.5 stars don’t know how they got that. Worst ever experience

Unusually varied menu with several dishes new to us. The lamb tandoori excellent. We took the owner's advice and tried both the hazari kebab chicken and haryali kofta, both new to us and both delicious. And, for the island, the fastest dinner service we've experienced. Helpful staff, delicious food. Dining can be open air on the porch, but you get hip hop accompaniment from down below. Inside seating is quiter and cooler.
We had the sense the food quality was very good-it felt healthy on top of being delicious!

Excellent experience, we will definitely be back. Ordering spicy here really does mean that for Indian standards so get mild or medium if you’re not familiar with that flavor. The food was mostly traditional - aloo gobhi was enjoyable but more like a jalfrezi/65 sauce vibe that was heavily oiled, tarka dhaal was delicious with a little flare from curry patha. Chicken tikka, naan and other staples were very much as to be expected (and great!). We were the only ones here for lunch on a Sunday during off peak season and while the service was decent it took awhile for the waiter to take our order and fill our cups with water, and our cups were never refilled with water after... we had asked for a taxi with swipe and instead had a taxi without one pull up and had to go back up to request another one which took double the time… little things that can detract from the experience. I could see how service would be frustrating with a full house here and they do need to improve it. The food is worth it. The area the restaurant is in is great, lots to do around in walking distance. Enjoy your meal here!

The server Nelson is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The star of the show is the Mushroom Mytai which is a chef specialty. It was so good that we ordered a second one immediately after finishing the first. I wouldn’t recommend the butter chicken because the sauce was thin and not flavorful. I’m happy to recommend the Tikka Chicken Masala, this sauce was thick, rich and bursting with flavor. My son enjoyed his lamb dish. I would return just for the Mushroom Mytai

Just wow! Great service, beautiful place, incredible food. If this restaurant was in my home town it would be the only Indian restaurant I’d ever go to. Order the button mushrooms #10. The description does not do it justice. Also, they are a bit heavy-handed with the heat. We ordered medium but anywhere else it would be verging on hot. Still didn’t stop up from eating it all. Next time I’m in Aruba, this will be at the top of my list.

Our waze app had a hard time getting us here. Right after you pass Tandoor you will pull into a parking lot. It’s $3.00 to park. The Tandoor Indian Grill is on the second floor and shares an entrance with an Asian restaurant.
Our waitress and general service was outstanding. The food was better than we get back home…and they even made me a peshwari or sweet naan, not on the menu…it was amazing. My husband and I could eat here every day.

Went upstairs to enjoy dinner for three. We sat outside. The food was delicious, we had chicken tikka masala, a chicken masala, and a veggie plate. Butter naan and onion naan. All was delicious. The plate looked small but was very filling. I think three dishes for four people is good too. What I noticed is that there are only local Indians eating there: must be a good thing then and everyone else is missing out!
Nice lighting too, which is a plus.
Only thing that was not pleasant was the loud music from the bar downstairs, that had zero customers at 830pm but playing loud music anyway…. But ya not the fault of the restaurant. Inside would have been nice and quiet. Def would go back again

This Indian restaurant served delicious, fresh food. The naan was soft and buttery. The tandoori chicken was juicy and tender and served on a sizzling cast iron pan. Nelson, the waiter, was kind and attentive and we will surely be back!

Stopped by for dinner tonight since we haven't been here in awhile. I think the menu changed, and there were lots of things to pick from. My wife liked her Malai Kofta and I liked my Mutton Saagwala. We ordered both dishes medium, and they were actually medium; having a good kick to it. The service was not bad, but teh prices are a bit high for what you get. They are now charging a 10% service charge, and overall, we'd absolutely go back to try a new dish.

Great food! We had our usual 3 favorite entrees lamb Rogan Josh, butter chicken and chicken biryani. They have 3 spice levels mild medium and hot. Medium was perfect for us - it was quite spicy. Really nice that they will give u an appetizer with medium spicy green chutney so you can gauge your spice level. Absolutely delicious! Will go back many times on our vacations here.
