We are owners and patrons at Playa Linda for over 10 years . Our visit this year to Azzurros this visit was extremely unpleasant. The meal we had was unsatisfactory to say the least. The veal parmigiana tasted like it was soaked in vinegar and...the ravioli was clumped together and over cooked . I am not one to complain and send food back so We did not mention anything until the following day as to not ruin the dinner for our other guests. After speaking to the manager Dennis about our experience he was very sarcastic and unapologetic. His response was that he would talk to the chef . He never took a name or a room number to give an explanation or to apologize so what did his comment mean ? This is not how you should treat good customers who have eaten in all of their other restaurants during our month long stay and spending over $1,000.00 combined in their other establishments. Our other guests mentioned they were disappointed as well with the portion size of their pasta dish . The manager gave an Extremely unprofessional response. We were not asking for nor did we want compensation as we will not be patronizing any of their restaurants ever again. In these times when tourism is at an all time low and businesses are closing on a daily basis customers should at least be appreciated for their comments . Playa Linda is a timeshare where patrons and their families support the on-site restaurants year after year . If I could give less than one star I would. This is an attitude problem because they feel they have a captive audience week after week and year after year . Their are many other Italian restaurants on the island that do a much better job with their customer service and with their authentic Italian food. Search them out . I have been in the food business for many years and every once in a while things do happen that are beyond our control as managers or owners. The key to keeping customers happy is to listen and try to apologize in a friendly manner . Had that been done this review would have never been written. Remember this if nothing else Azzurros owners and managers, a customer could be 100% wrong everyday of the week but at the end of each day the customer is always 100% right .More
