About
Henri Charrière, one of the world’s most famous prisoners, would surely have had the time of his life at Papillon Restaurant in The Village, across from the Radisson Resort. Nicknamed Papillon because of the butterfly tattoo on his chest, he was the first convict to escape from Devil’s Island. Charrière’s thrilling, gripping autobiography has been the concept behind Papillon Restaurant.Papillon Restaurant’s menu reflects the Frenchman’s arduous journey to freedom: classic French dishes have been dusted with daring Caribbean flair and are a culinary journey for your taste buds. The spacious outside terrace is perfect for casual fine dining or one may enjoy the air-conditioned inside dining space

This restaurant is on the busy strip in front of the Palm Beach high-rise hotels. We weren’t sure if that was a good thing or if it would be too touristy and impersonal. Any concerns we might have had disappeared as we were seated on...More

Great food; great service and hospitality; great atmosphere! Special shout out and many thanks to Fieke whose hospitality skills were far beyond what anyone could've asked for - 5 stars! Tried the ceviche, crab cake, and seabass - all were amazing. I would definitely return.

No dress code, very casual - we go to Aruba every year and everyone dresses casual - capris for women, and nice shorts / shirts for men is the common attire at most restaurants. Enjoy
