Welcome to restaurant Chicken & Lobster, conveniently located on the high-rise area, in front of the Playa Linda Hotel. As our name says, it might not surprise you that our specialty is free-range rotisserie chicken and fresh lobster but we have much more than that! You can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner on our outside terrace or have an ice-cold drink at the bar.

Despite the terrible name [what were they thinking?] I enjoyed this restaurant so much I had dinner and breakfast twice there during my recent vacation. Breakfast is a great deal-2 eggs, toast, bacon, fresh squeezed orange juice, gouda cheese and unlimited coffee for $9.99. They have an excellent early bird dinner special for $30 which includes delicious soup or salad, entrée dessert and a glass of wine. Throw in half price happy hour drinks and you can't beat the price. The best thing is the food is delicious. I got a 6 ounce filet mignon that was perfectly done. The potato soup was the best I have ever had. All of this served on an outdoor patio that surround you with the perfect climate of Aruba. Highly recommended

I am an Airline Captain, and have been coming to Aruba for 20 years. My wife came with me on my trip and I wanted a really nice dinner for her. This restaurant was recommended to me by another Captain who always dines here when in Aruba. I have to say that this was the best dinner my wife and I have had in the last 30 years, maybe ever in our life. We had the early bird special with me having the grilled grouper and my wife having the filet mignon. The flavors were outstanding and we can’t imagine better choices. Our special included a salad, homemade bread, entree, and desert. This is really a bargain.
I can’t say enough about Edward the manager, he really made our dinning experience special. He himself took it upon himself to serve us and make suggestions so everything would be the the best. He treated us like family and told us something about himself personally so that we felt he really cares about his customers and listened to my experiences so the we felt a great relationship. I know and can tell that he is really an asset to this restaurant and I felt treated it like he owed it which perhaps his family does. To me he is Royalty, and he treated my wife and I as such. 100% the best restaurant in Aruba, can’t wait to dine here again!

What a lovely evening our family had here. We really enjoyed the cozy outdoor atmosphere, live music, outstanding food, drinks and terrific service. We ordered the calamari appetizer, catch of the day (sea bass), rotisserie chicken with truffle mac & cheese and almond crusted pan fried grouper. We all left very satisfied thanks to our delicious meals. Highly recommend giving this wonderful restaurant a try. We arrived too late for the special (4 pm-7 pm), but if you can make it in time– it’s a great deal!

We went for an early dinner. The restaurant itself had a nice ambience. The Hostess was nice and pleasant. It was our first time there. For app we got the chicken soup (which was actually just chicken broth with very few pulled chicken and very few finely chopped raw veggies - carrots/celery) and the french onion soup which flavorful. For the main course We both wanted the truffle linguini pasta but since I cannot tolerate truffle, I asked if it was possible to just have the alfredo/parmesan, which they said was an option. I added chicken to mine. The one of my partner that had truffle was overpowered by it, all she could taste was the truffle and the rest was just bland. Even though mine was supposed to be without truffle, it still had a hint of truffle in it which was enough to give me a major headache. I should have asked about the chicken in my pasta before I ordered it to know if it was white meat or not, but did not because usually in pastas like that I get grilled white meat; this was dark meat mostly. I know now that I should always ask since I do not really enjoy dark meat. We were very disappointed with our food with the exception of the onion soup and their homemade bread, which were nice. As for the service, our waitress barely came to our table. Our water was refilled consistently. We asked for beers, which the manager brought for us and while he was serving us the beers, my lime fell from the glass onto the table; he picked it up with his bare fingers from the table and put it back on the edge of my glass.
All in all, we would not return.

For years I have been wanting to try this place. What's better than Chicken & Lobster, right? This year we stayed at Playa Linda and decided to give it a try for dinner, especially since one of the wait staff was handing out 10% off coupons on the beach. The food was just OK. I got a burger and it was cooked perfectly but my son got the surf & turf and the portion size was very small, and his lobster was a bit chewy. Next time we will give it a try for breakfast or lunch - we heard great things about both. Maybe just not a dinner place.

We visit Aruba every year and breakfast at Chicken and Lobster near La Playa Linda is our favorite breakfast restaurant. We went on our first day and our last day on the island. The food is that good! Everything is fresh, and it tastes so. But the biggest selling point is the outstanding staff and service. It is like a family is taking care of you. Marlin, Magy, Carla and Jessica are interchangeable and all came by our table to serve our needs. They have great personalities and seem to love what they do. From a basic breakfast to traditional Dutch and Arubian food, they do a great job. We will be back!

I wasn’t expecting much from this place. The name seemed gimmicky and it’s in tourist central, but it was actually very good! The staff are incredibly friendly and even gave us a discount. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was very cozy although be aware that there is only outdoor dining. We ordered French Onion soup and the Buffalo Mozzarella to start, the soup was especially good. For entrees we got the Burger, Filet Mignon, and the Spicy Chicken (with beef tips instead of chicken though). All were delicious. Especially the burger, it was cooked perfectly. The waitress brought us special hot sauce as well and that really took the food up a notch as well, although it’s seriously spicy so be careful! All in all, a great meal for a decent price.

We had a stayover night in Aruba on a cruise we did in December and made a reservation at the Chicken and Lobster. We had eaten here when we stayed in Aruba for a week in December of 2018 and once again they did not disappoint. The food was plentiful, cooked to perfection and a good value. The service was right on point. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone spending time in Aruba

I must say that I was not expecting the food to be exceptional but indeed it was. It looked touristy but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, presentation and value. The same meal would have cost much more in North America. I had the pre fixe menu which had some great choices. I opted for the Garden Salad, Fresh Grouper served with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. For dessert, I had Creme Brulee'. A glass of wine was included. $29.95!!! I believe it is the Early Bird Special but was offered later in the evening when I was there. GianCarlo was my waiter and he could not have been friendlier, more professional or attentive. Just a great guy. I loved the meal. What caught me off guard was that the Grouper never lost it's hot temperature during the entire meal. It was cooked to perfection. I complimented the Chef for the attention to detail because it is a rarity in the USA to have a fish entree' prepared with this level of attention. The Grouper was fresh, delicious and non fishy. The taste was subtle and seasoned perfectly. I had considered the Filet Mignon' which was a choice but I knew I could get that anywhere at home. I wanted something local and indeed it was exceptional. There are lots of choices on this menu and I am planning to go back in just a few days when I return to Aruba on business. I loved sitting in the open air and right now there are no crowds. An amazing meal.

This was located only feet from our resort. A lady had been handing out flyers on the beach in the afternoon so we decided to try it for dinner. First, order the “Grandma’s Chicken Soup”. I loved it! Very hearty and one of those comfort foods you would want to eat when not feeling well. I wish I could have brought some of it home. We each ordered something different so we could share the food. I had the spicy chicken dish. Awesome! The rice and vegetables with the chicken were delicious. The truffle mac & cheese was also very good. My wife ordered the chicken alfredo dish, again, very good! The service was good, the atmosphere was great, with an awesome view of many of the local shops and things happening on the street. Food here is a little on the expensive side, not just this location, but overall. For our two meals, two apps and two alcoholic drinks, we paid approximately $120, so be prepared! But, you’re likely on vacation so why not?

So a sweet lady flagged us down in the street and gave us a menu that including a 10% discount on the back. After hemming and hawing we decided to stop by. I'm so glad that we did because the food was great. The staff was also very nice. The waffles are everything. They have a little crunchy treat with every bite. Delicious!! The only thing to be mindful of is that they offer free juice and coffee with certain meals, but they present it as if it's all meals. Please read your menu. We ended up paying for a $5 glass of orange juice that my husband only got because we thought it was free. Overall, it was very good and I'm glad we stopped. Thanks random lady in the street. She was a sweetheart!!!

Giancarlo and Magy were amazing. When Magy calls you go get dinner there! Shrimp and avocado salad was delish for a lighter option. The chicken and lobster was perfection and the BBQ was amazing. So were the other fish options and truffle Mac and cheese. Flan was the best I ever had with a rich Caramel sauce and divine coconut ice cream on the side. The shakes were so fresh it tasted healthy especially the banana one.

There was a woman on the street soliciting people to come to the restaurant. I decided to try it, as I have seen the place on other trips to Aruba. They had an early bird special, which I did get. It had three courses, plus a glass of wine. The food was okay, nothing to wow over. The staff was very nice and cordial. The challenge of eating outside (which I enjoy doing) are the flies.

We had high hopes based upon multiple recommendations for a great breakfast this morning, but in the end both of us ended up with over cooked, room temperature eggs and average service. In fact, the waitress forgot one of our mimosas completely until we reminded her. The high point was the homemade jam and fresh bread. Also, the hash browns where tasty.

Ideal location near Playa Linda Resort. The Early Bird Special is served between 4pm-7pm and is a good deal as it includes a glass of wine. The rotisserie chicken was very tasty. The terrace seating is ideal.
