My husband and I ate here 13 years ago and I remember a wonderful dinner in a very cool atmosphere (we weren't staying at the hotel at the time), so I couldn't wait to bring my family back. If you are staying at the Hyatt (which we did this time), this is where they serve breakfast, so it kind of... More

We spent a week in Aruba and ate at many of the highly touted restaurants on the island - although a bit pricey, the meal we had at Ruinas del Mar was by far the best we ate all week -- you get what you pay for!

we always sit outside, by the lagoon. Beautiful and peaceful. Surrounded by swans, koi, and turtles. Food always well done and staff always accommodating. My wife always orders a non-menu item(veggie plate)and has never been a problem. Steak very tender and bread are small loafs, usually warm from the oven

Located in the Hyatt this restaurant has great food and a very cool atmosphere. Ask to sit outside by the water.

Warm, pleasant atmosphere and super-attentive service. Menu selection is outstanding, including fresh seafood choices! Food was prepared superbly and tasted heavenly! A wonderful dinner experience for sure!

In Aruba, we generally avoid hotel restaurants since there are so many other available choices, but I would make an exception for Ruinas. We tried this place specifically for the lobster tail, and were not disappointed - the single tail was huge (I would guess at least 12 ounces). Prices are not cheap, but nothing in Aruba is. They do... More

It was our first night in Aruba, and we wanted to have a nice dinner. We went downstairs inside the Hyatt, and ended up in this place. The waitress at the Palms Bar told us they had good food and we could get a good steak there. We walked in right at 6 pm, and were seated quickly. After being... More

Always have Sunday brunch here when in Aruba. High quality food, great staff and nice location at the Hyatt. Pricey, but all good brunches are nowadays. Usual breakfast fare along with carving stations and raw bar with sushi. Better than any other place that we've been too in the area.

we have visited here many times. this time we had our best meal. the waiter was helpful and friendly. the view is gorgeous-we sat inside by the beach. the fish we ordered was great and it feels like a presage dining room in the Hyatt. we will surely go back.
