Sole Mare is a traditional family restaurant. Since opening day, the Italian eatery has never veered from its philosophy of serving delicious home-cooked Italian food with rich, fresh flavors, at reasonable prices and in hearty portions, delivering an authentic slice of Italy. Sole Mare is the home of the famous Spaghetti al Formaggio Parmigiano - an Italian dish flamed with whiskey at your table. Sole Mare Restaurant is located in the heart of Palm Beach within walking distance of all the hotels. Italianissimo

Went in with lower expectations as we have excellent Italian near us and we were impressed. Everyone enjoyed their meals and very little leftover. Stuffed ourselves silly. They even let me make my own dish with gnocchi, fra diavolo and sausage, which melted in your...mouth! All were homemade and you could tell for sure. High recommend as a must when in Aruba!More

My fiance and I both got the lobster ravioli and were really glad we did! Neither of us had ever tried homemade ravioli before and we were amazed at how much better it is than the inauthentic Italian food we've had back at home. The...lobster was really fresh and the ravioli came in the most delicious alfredo sauce I've ever had in my life. Unfortunately we didn't leave enough room for dessert, but we did get drinks! I had the sangria and it was the best I've ever had (and that's saying something cause I've been on a sangria kick lately!), my fiance got the chocolate kiss and I tried a sip and wanted to order one myself. The prices are a little high but in my opinion it's well worth it for the high quality of the food and the great service. Our server was extremely attentive and even called a cab for us to get back to the resort. Thank you to everyone at Sole Mare for one of the greatest dinners of my life! Hopefully we will be back sometime!More

The service was great. Have been coming here for the past six years, and cant wait to be back next year! The food is always outstanding and the employees are very pleasant. If you have issues for any reason with your meal, the staff is...very helpful in providing alternate choices or making new dishes for you. They are extremely kind. Also, I highly recommend the white sangria!!More

Our server was rude and argumentative when I informed her I didn't like the mushrooms in the Penne alla Vodka. My whole table was in agreement that the meal did not look or taste like normal Penne alla Vodka, the server argued that it was...how authentic Italian food should look and taste with attitude. We sent the food back a second time as it tasted entirely of burnt salty bacon. The server didn't speak to us for the rest of the night. My friend got an upset stomach from the veal parm and had to practically chase down a server to inform them about the bad menu item. No server nor manager came to check on my friend after informing them that he threw up three times in the bathroom. The only thing they offered us was a 10% discount on our bill. The manager gave us a forced apology and told us that we had a "difference of opinion" about the food. Never again. Over priced. Under portioned and horrible staff.More

As expected the food and service was excellent here. We made reservations to make sure we had dinner here again. Truly authentic Italian. We had rigatoni in Vodka sauce asked to make it spicy and was perfect. Also the spaghetti fromage in the wheel of...cheese with whiskey flambay. Fantastic flavour we will return next year.More

We were a party of 10 and everyone had an excellent meal and the service was outstanding. We have been in the past and, while the food was always good, the service was terrible. Not this time. The staff were attentive and timely.

Each trip to Aruba we have dinner at Sole Mare. It's been a couple of years and I was looking forward to dinner here. Unfortunately, while the food remains above average, it used to be very good and the service matched. The growth of the...island and the popularity of the restaurant have taken its toll- the servers seem to be running all the time and the food was a lengthy wait. At the end of the day, it was one of the more expensive meals of the week and far from the best of all the restaurants we visited. Really hated to see this, because it used to be one of my favorite places on the island.More

The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. We ordered two different seafood pasta dishes which were perfectly prepared. The berry martini was a smooth, cool treat. The chocolate sausage dessert with vanilla ice cream was very tasty. Overall, our best dining experience in...Aruba.More

We went here thinking we were going to be going to a seafood restaurant by the name, so were quite surprised when we discovered it was actually Italian food. Service was excellent, food arrived quickly and was delicious...pricey though for what you got we thought.

We have a house near there and they know me. So I am not giving you a fair answer but my advice about the island restaurants (excepting high season Christmas through Easter) is stop by. There isn’t the kind of volume that... More
