Very friendly staff, very helpful, were asked where we'd like to be seated. Didn't have to wait long before we had a delicious meal. I had chicken breast with tomato salsa, peppers and olives with Spanish potatoes and my friend had Lasagne with home-made chips, they were lovely. The portions were just right and then we had dessert. Again both... More

Really loved this hotel. Booked a twin room, very good price. Room was a little small, but clean and great value for money. Evening meal and breakfast were both exceptional. I would definitely stay here again.

Went there with family for Sunday lunch and the carvery was absolutely stunning but afterwards we ordered desserts and they were a bit of a let down as in a bit on the small side and not very traditional. Would definitely go for the carvery again but won't be ordering desserts!

2 for £20 groupon deal the atmosphere was very friendly and the place is very nice inside and authentic looking with all the coats of arms etc. Food was ok very stodgy and not big portions but good for what it was the atmosphere made up for what the food lacked in.

Warm welcome and very good service. Loved the dining room & bar areas which were tastefully themed and comfortably furnished. Menu choice was excellent with a selection suitable for most tastes and pockets. We had the 16oz gammon with home made chips....the best I've had for a long time. Plate presentation was very good especially the tomato...nice one Chef. The... More
