We’ve been going to Aruba for 14 years now and the Dutch Pancake House is always our first breakfast there! There is such a variety of sweet or savory topped pancakes (crepes), there is something to appeal to everyone. They also offer a Seaport breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, hashbrowns and silver dollar pancakes if you are watching carbs. Hubby and I usually order the Seaport Breakfast and one of the fruity ones and share them.
In the evening (after 4:00?) they offer chicken or pork schnitzel that rivals any we have had at the fancier restaurants for much less money.
It’s a winner for us!

Fantastic brunch. I had the Seaport Special because it included a sampling of several items including mini pancakes, eggs, toast, bacon, hash browns. Served hot and delicious for $13.00. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful and kept the coffee coming. This is a breakfast you will never forget. So delicious and an Aruban outdoor dining experience you will want to repeat over and over.

Great breakfast place! A bit touristy, but well worth the wait for the yummy poffertjes and Dutch pancakes. Our waitress was so friendly despite the rush hour, too. I had the 14 pc poffertjes with a side of blueberry jam and whipped cream, as well as the Provençal Dutch Pancake (ham, brie, and candied walnuts). I knew it was a lot of food, so I split both with my mother and it was the perfect amount. Every table is set with American syrup and Dutch syrup, so please try the Dutch one!

Another place that I’ve heard people rave about so we gave it a try. First I will say that their system for getting seated can only be rivaled by the boarding process for airlines. We were waiting online and people would just walk right in and sit down at a table and no one said anything. Yes if you couldn’t already tell, I am a New Yorker and we have rules about this kind of stuff. We finally got a table and I ordered the Poffertjes which are Dutch Silver Dollar pancakes that come covered in chocolate syrup and sugar powder, with a side of bacon. My wife wanted to order the Seaport Breakfast, but the s teas of toast wanted to order sone fruit. After a very confusing discussion, the waitress convinced us it would be cheaper just to order fried eggs and then just get the sides she wanted. In the end the $19 Seaport Breakfast ended up costing $24. Not having the time or the energy to dispute the bill, we just paid and left never to go back again. As to the food, I’ve had better at iHop and diners.

Recommended by crew members from various cruise ships, we always return to the Dutch Pancakehouse. Open 7 days a week from 8 am to 9pm. The menu offers so many choices. This time I had a savory pancake which is crepe-like with ham, chees, tomato, onion and mushroom in the batter. My hubby had scrambled eggs with toast and bacon. And of course Poffertjes. The size of silver dollars, we like them with just powdered sugar. Yum

Today my family arrived at the restaurant at 1:59pm. We didn’t know, but apparently they close at 2pm. The owner was gracious enough to serve us! He was very pleasant as he took our order and kept returning to check in on us - asking if we wanted anything more, and not rushing us regardless that there was no one else left in the restaurant. The Dutch pancakes are amazing! I had a savory pancake with ham and Brie cheese, honey, and walnuts. My husband had the mini waffles, and my dad had a great egg dish. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend this unique spot on your next trip to Aruba!

We visited Aruba last year and stayed at the renaissance. Right outside in the renaissance mall is this gem of a restaurant. We enjoyed it last year and when we traveled again 8/2-8/9 with the family, we visited this restaurant daily for breakfast again. Great food, great service and great views! Sweet and savory Dutch pancakes (think of a slightly thicker crepe) options along with standard breakfast items. Price is fair and not expensive like some spots on the island.

this was okay. got frozen coffee (java chip and caramel latte) because it was very hot but it just tasted like a cup of sugar that cost 6$ each. def opt for regular hot coffee if you can handle the heat. or go to dunkin’ donuts around the corner. the dutch pancakes were ok. got the egyptian and the chocolate delight. thicker than a crepe, less thick than a pancake, but nothing really unique about it. went to diana’s pancake house and i thought that was waaaay better even if their pancakes don’t look that amazing. their pancakes are slightly thinner than dutch pancake house and more flavor given their simple menu. pass on dutch pancake house- yes on diana’s pancake house

Highly recommend! Delicious breakfast and unbelievable hospitality!
We ate here while on vacation April 2021 and enjoyed it so much that we decided to go one more time the last morning of our trip. We were sad to see there was a long wait line for a table since we had to be to the airport in an hour. My husband asked to speak to manager to see if they could make an exception. She was so sweet and polite but said she could not rightfully move us ahead of line, which we expected, but hey, it was worth a try. She suggested we order take out to-go and she would rush the order for us and we could sit at an outside table from one of the nearby stores. We took her up on her offer! Although we got kicked off of 3 different table sites for not purchasing their food, we wound up asking a bartender at Jimmy Buffets bar, as they were not open yet, and she was gracious enough to let us use their table (we tipped her well). The manager from Dutch Pancake brought our food all the way over to us, which was a distance from her restaurant, checked on us, made sure we had all accessories, condiments, etc., and was so accommodating. We could not believe the extra lengths she went to to help us out and make us happy! This is how a business should be managed! Kudos to her and the rest of their staff! I promised her I’d write a review because they are so deserving! Atmosphere is great, prices are reasonable, staff is super friendly, service is fast, food is amazing (especially the crispy bacon and hash browns!).

We heard the wait can be awful so we got there at 7:50am (they open at 8am) and they let us sit until they opened. Easy since we were staying five minutes away at the Renaissance but we’d have found a way even if we were further. Totally delicious. My friends and I split some poffertjes - covered in powdered sugar and butter. We each got an array of sides and filled pancakes after and I will say that they pancakes are more filling than you’d think so don’t overload on sides. That being said, I got the bacon, cheese, onion savory pancake and two over easy eggs as a side to throw on top. It’s killing me I won’t have this until I’m back in Aruba.

If you want the best Dutch Pancakes this is the place .... but don’t get in a hurry from 8:00 to 10:00 am you will wait for the most mouth watering powder sugared cakes you will ever put in your mouth.
Rated as the islands best food spot for consecutive years ... sit down and enjoy.
We had Chicken Schnitzel for dinner and pancakes as a desert chaser.

We have a timeshare so traditionally never eat breakfast out in Aruba. This was so worth it! Bacon, poffertjies and an endless choice of sweet and savory choices of Dutch pancakes which to me are like crepes. Excellent! Waitstaff was fabulous too! Will become a new tradition.

We came here for breakfast and there was a line but it went fast. You don't need to give your name, just wait in line for your turn. We both had the savory pancake with ham, cheese, chives, and walnuts and it was great. We also ordered the sweet peach pancake which we took to go since we were full. The server (male) was kind of rude when I asked no chives And no powdered sugar. He made an annoyed face and sighed. We thought it was inappropriate and unnecessary. You have a business and should accommodate people's dietary preferences. We would come back just hope we have a different server.

The perfect way to start out our day!
We had the seaport breakfast and it was the perfect portion of everything we wanted. The mini pancakes were definitely my favorite part, but the bacon was so crispy and delicious and the eggs were scrambled perfectly.
The customer service was incredible and so friendly and welcoming. I am so happy I called up to get breakfast to go because it was a delicious meal and left us feeling full and ready to take on the day. This place is a must visit when in Aruba! We will definitely be back.

Our party of four stopped in to try dutch pancakes and were not disaapointed. We tried a cinnamin and apple pancake and a ham, onion and cheese pancake and both were very good. We also sampled some poffertjes which resemble small pancakes crossed with a donut - very yummy. They can also make a perfect cappuccino if you need a boost. The service was great and the atmosphere is nice. Definately worth a stop by and try.
