While visiting the island on a cruise ship with another couple, we had decided that we wanted to visit a more local beach and bar area instead of heading to where everyone else on the cruise ship was going. We read great things about this...Beach Bar & Restaurant on Tripadvisor and decided this was going to be our spot for the day. We are so glad we did. We walked from the port. It is a little bit of a walk but it wasn't awful. It did take us over an hour, but we made some quick stops at some vendors and bars along the way. We did end up taking a cab back to the ship. Make sure you take time to dry off before getting into the cab, which the staff advised us of prior to calling the taxi for us. The clientele here was a mix of all nationalities, which was so fun. We actually only met one other American couple the whole time we were here. We also met a few cruise ship employees from another ship who said they come here whenever they port in Aruba, which I think says a lot for the place. There are lots of options for seating here. You can grab a table at the beach; on the patio area; at a bar stool on dry land or in the swim-up pool bar; or on the beach at a table, in a chair, or in a lounger. You have the option to get as much sun or shade as you want or need. We started our day with some appetizers and buckets of Balashi Beer at a table on the beach. The food was good and reasonably priced. The beer was delicious and ice cold. We tried a couple new foods and really liked them. After eating, we decided to enjoy the beach for a little bit. The water was refreshing and pretty calm. The beach was beautiful with nice clean sand. There were tons of spots to sit at tables, beach chairs, and loungers. We even saw a plane flying over the water near us into the nearby airport. We really liked this beach. We then decided to move the party to the swim-up pool bar, which was super clean and just slightly cool (perfect). There were only a few people in the pool at any given part of the day. We never waited for drinks. The staff were always on top of making sure we were taken care of. The bar had lively music playing in the background. We were enjoying ourselves so much here that we didn't get out of the pool until shortly before we had to head back to the cruise ship, except to go to the bathroom. By the way, the bathroom doors here have some nice eye candy on them. lol We continued with the buckets of beer for most of the day for a good price. We also had a few fruity shots at the recommendation of the staff and even had a round bought for us by the owner, which were all yummy. Speaking of the staff, have I said how amazing they were. The were always smiling, joking with us, taking and posing for pics for and with us, and even did some funny photo bombing in the background, which we found after we came home. I can honestly say the service could not have been better anywhere else. This is a slice of paradise in Aruba that we are blessed to have been so lucky to visit. We would not hesitate to recommend a visit to this Beach Side paradise to anyone.More

The service was good. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. The restaurant offers several different options for seating. Bar/restaurant or beach. We visited 3 separate times and sat in different locations each time. We were there for sun and some beach time....While there we had drinks and had appetizers. Moderately priced drinks and the food was good. Because we went 3 separate times (at different times of the day) we saw a different atmosphere each time. Very laid back and casual during the day which is exactly what we wanted. As it gets later in the day the cliental changes and the atmosphere seems to gravitate to the crowd. We were lucky enough to catch them on a night they had a bad. Great music and an even better time. I've been going to Aruba since '93; I can honestly say Reflextions is a new addition (or tradition) that we will have each time we return to the Island.More

We came off our cruise ship on our trip February 2020 for a day on the beach. Just over a mile away , we took a taxi ,which was immediately outside the cruise terminal doorway....on the left, to Reflections. Earlier that morning, we phoned them...to reserve a tented bed. The ship is one hour behind local time. Remember that! Upon arrival we had our choice of beds, as it was only one hour after they opened, 10 amish! There were a few other local visitors there already enjoying the morning , peaceful awakening of the day. Reflections serves a breakfast, if you missed it on ship. Speaking of which, we had full view of our ship down the beach, tied up to the pier. You can use lounge chairs on the sand, tented beds, throw down a towel, sit at tables up on the deck, pool side. Yes , they have a clean pool, a shower rinse off, and rental beds around the pool. Please google their web site. The background music was perfect. The restrooms clean for a beach bar. Drinks were well done. I had fish for lunch that was excellent. As the day warmed up, other cruise passengers discovered the place. I’m sure with the help of the taxi drivers. We had cancelled a boat trip this day due to the winds forecasted to be 20 + mph. To much work to sail. This part of the beach was well protected from wind due to buildings behind. Just high enough to slow them down. The day warmed up as expected, but having the tent shade over the beds was perfect. $26.00 for the day was fantastic for comfortable, cushioned, shaded loungers on the clean blue waters edge. Beach entry was easy and soft on the feet. No sharp coral gravel. Service was great, no one pushing drinks or food . Menu prices and selections are on web site. All rental prices are on web site. Taxi back to ship was fast and convenient. No stress. All and all, great for families, good for groups and couples as well. We weren’t disappointed !More

This is a beach bar just a few steps from where we were staying so one evening when we didn't have any other plans we just walked over to check it out. Got there just at the end of happy hour so the place was...packed and almost couldn't get a table. Then HH was over and it emptied out a bit, music was turned down, and we were able to enjoy a more relaxed and quieter dinner and watch the sunset, which was beautiful. Had burger and chicken quesadilla - the latter not the best, too much cheese and a bit bland. So the food is a bit lacking but the location and atmosphere is excellent. Great place for a drink if not too much expectation for food.More

Visited this spot after our Airbnb host suggested we give it a try. Very pleased with the atmosphere and we would definitely return. We rented lounge chairs and an umbrella, ordered food and drinks on the beach, and watched the sunset at the restaurant. The...swimming was wonderful, the employees were all very friendly, and the beach did not feel crowded. Great food and drinks. Loved the music, it was not too loud and the mix was pleasant. Quite affordable, too.More

I called them directly. We also stopped by the day of our arrival, which was a week before our planned beach day event, just to re-re-re-re confirm. :)

a charge just to get in - they did not have one when we were there - just to hire chairs on the beach - but this is normal everywhere pretty much we went - the chairs / loungers here are cheap and they wait on you great staff
