We are so happy that we choose The Water’s Edge for our most special occasion during our Aruba vacation! We were celebrating my husbands birthday and our server Fabio was an absolute pleasure! He was very charming and helpful and just the perfect amount of attentiveness was given to us so we could enjoy the spectacular sunset and the very memorable meal we were served! I would highly recommend making the time to enjoy this beautiful restaurant. The violinist was a wonderful addition and made the evening more romantic than we could have ever imagined. We will remember it forever.

My wife and I were staying next door at Bucuti & Tara, and with a "project" of sampling surrounding restaurants, we made advance reservations here before arriving in Aruba (in retrospect, probably was not essential, there were other open tables), but we ended up with a very nice table reserved for us at the periphery of the inside dining area, very nice view toward the water.
Having read the prior TA reviews, most but not all of which were favorable, we arrived with some concern, but we ended up with a very nice meal, start to finish.
We were promptly seated, provided with water and bread with herb butter (very tasty), menus. Wine order taken quickly (house Sauvignon blanc, $9.75 per glass). We split a fried calamari ($14), very tasty with two accompanying dipping sauces. For my main, I chose the red snapper ($30), was a very large, moist serving with great taste. It covered a nice assortment of fresh vegetables, with a side serving of wonderful mashed potatoes. My wife chose the Mahi-Mahi ($28), which also was clearly very fresh, delicious, and in fact so large a serving that I had to (at great "personal sacrifice") finish on her behalf. It, too, was accompanied by fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes). By then, we were fully sated, and no room remained for trying out one of the tempting dessert offerings.
We came fully prepared for the fact that a 15% service charge would be automatically placed on the bill -- this was clearly stated on the menu ("meals will be subject to a 15% service charge"), and also clearly spelled out on the final bill. We were happy to add a few dollars more, having had great service from Shaira.
So, taking into account the nice ambience, good service, beautifully presented and delicious meal, we had no reluctance to add a "five bubble" rating to Water's Edge!

Stopped in for dinner last night because we had an issue with another restaurant we were going to go to. We knew it was Super Sunday, so I'll chalk the bad service up to that. However, the food was good. I really liked my snapper which came with a piece of herb butter on top (which slowly melted on the fish) and perfectly cooked veggies. My wife's cheeseburger was perfectly cooked. The staff was crazy busy and friendly, however, we did see food delivered to people who came in and ordered after we did. Prices are par for the course for the island and they do add a 15% service charge to the bill. We'll swing by again to give them another chance.

My parents and I ate here last week and really enjoyed it. It's located in the beautiful, new Costa Linda complex near Eagle Beach. We got there about an hour before our reservation because we wanted to look around Costa Linda, which is really nice. We then settled down at the main pool bar, which is also right on the water steps from the sandy beach, for their happy hour special. The three of us split 2 orders of 2 for 1 for wine and frozen drinks. The drinks were very good - then we decided to see if they could seat us a little early before our reservation. They happily obliged and agreed to sit us at one of their tables that was on the sandy beach a few feet from the Caribbean. Very nice. We all got different seafood entrees, which were all very good at reasonable prices ($25-30 range.) And the service was great as well. Looking forward to returning.

We decided to try this place for lunch one day and it did not disappoint. They have happy hour between 12 and one where they serve drinks at half price. The wife’s chose to have salads and they were impressed also. The food prices were not exorbitant and therefore the total bill with tip was under 50 bucks per couple.

We ate Christmas dinner at Water's Edge at the Costa Linda with our family of seven adults. We ate there last Christmas as well which was their first year serving Christmas dinner and really enjoyed our experience so wanted to repeat this year. We arrived early and had a fun drink at the bar while waiting for our table. We ate outside this year at a table on the sand and the food, service and wine offering were all outstanding. My only issue was that eating outside subjected us to kids running around and loud people during dinner so wish we would have eaten inside instead. Regardless, we had a fantastic dinner and enjoyed ourselves. The on duty manager was a real professional and ensured our complete satisfaction and the chef visited our table as well. All in all a great meal but the ambiance would have been better inside than out.

Mediocre at best restaurant food-wise but awful service. The chicken was gummy and the waitress forgot a lot of our side dishes. Because there is a set tip already added on the bill, it does not seem like the waiters want to go out of their way to be nice to customers. You are paying more for the beach view and experience than for the food and service.

Long time visitors, tried a new place for a Christmas dinner , made reservation thru email from the States , got quick response and pleasant confirmation. Upon arrival @600 pm caught the end of happy hour at the pool bar near the restaurant ( over @630. Bar cleared out fast and had a peaceful time for dinner, our server Lilliana was awesome we had a steak dinner and 2 separate fish dishes with all 3 were great.
Just a FYI you will not observe sunset or see the water from the patio only the sand .

The food was nice, but the ambiance was rather cheesy. They pipe mashed potatoes on your plate and they hired a mediocre singer. I expected the restaurant to be literally on the beach, but it was just overlooking the beach. The waiter was not very attentive, and there was a tip already added on to our check, which we would have lowered if we had a choice. This restarting would not be my first choice in Aruba, but if you are staying nearby then it’s worth a visit.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal to celebrate a milestone birthday. We enjoyed the Saxophone music, the location right on the beach, but mostly the well prepared fresh seafood. Calamari, Coconut Shrimp, Red Snapper, Grouper, and Florentino Fettuccine Alfredo all were fresh, flavorful, and above expectations
Our server, Janelle, was warm, friendly, and very efficient.
Our celebrant was personally serenaded by the Saxophonist, had a sparkling candle included on her dessert, and was gifted a bottle of wine which all added to the magic of a superb celebration.

Water's Edge was the first dinner in Aruba and we selected here to go to celebrate the first night of our honeymoon. We choose one of the tables in the sand and it was truly awesome taking off our flip-flops and digging our feet in the sand as we had happy hour priced drinks and appetizers to start. The drinks were delicious and less than 6 bucks each. The Cesar salad was very crisp and fresh and the escargot was awesome. We both loved the Ahi Tuna and Island Apricot glazed chicken. We thought the coconut flan was the best ever (including nice custom warm caramel message to us written in the dessert). Our server Shaira was so friendly and attentive. She was always nearby without hovering. She checked back several times during each course and made the first night of our honeymoon extremely special. At the end, the Owner, Roy personally came out to congratulate us and gave us a bottle of champagne to take home with us. Truly a memorable first night of great food watching the sunset. The live saxophone serenade was great too.

We had reservations to sit outside on the beach. The reservations were made by our concierge Of the Aruba Ocean club and Confirmed by Lionel. When we arrived we asked if We wanted to sit outside.. we said we did.However they sat us at a table near the bar. For dinner my wife had a salad, which was crispy, and Maryland crab cake that was more filler than crab. I had the fried calamari which was crispy and tasty as an appetizer. I had the mahi-mahi which was overcooked and somewhat dry and chewy. A glass Of the house red wine which was a nice pour. The service was very good. The music provided by the singer was very nice.

We wanted to stay within close proximity to where we were staying, which was Casa del Mar, and the Water's Edge fit the bill. We started off with some bread and butter which is always welcome. Our appetizers included some coconut shrimp and ceviche. I really enjoyed the ceviche which was fresh and delightful. Among our family members, two of us enjoyed the chef's recommendation of freshly caught red snapper while the other two enjoyed fresh grouper. Our server was extremely friendly, charming and attentive. The cost was similar to other restaurants on the island. Great meal overall!

This was the best experience ever. Food was amazing and service was top notch with Saaira as our waitress ! The atmosphere was complete by sand in your feet, beautiful sunset and great live music by an amazing violinist. Roy (the owner) even executed to have flowers delivered to the table with my Husbands request. A must visit while in Aruba! (Wife review)

We visited Waters Edge our last night in Aruba February 2023 . Shout out to our server Nicole who was a pleasure to be served by. We both ordered the 12 ounce steak. It was supposed to come with seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes, but we asked if we could substitute the mashed potatoes for sweet potato fries. not only did they allow it, but they did not charge us anything extra to do so where as other restaurants on the island charged extra for them. They had to be the best, sweet potato fries on the island, and the portion was very generous. We were able to sit almost right on the beach, so able to watch the sunset, it made for a nice dining experience. The only small issue was because the restaurant was packed with people the meal took a long time to come, but they made it up to us by offering us free alcoholic beverages so everything worked out great.
