Everything about this restaurant was perfect. Staff is friendly and attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our waiter, Mario, even gave us some really great tips about where we should spend our time in Aruba. Food was fantastic and they had a great selection of wine.

We did this two summers ago - wanted to share some helpful advice as this restaurant is the best of any we experienced on Aruba. Literally toes in the sand on a gorgeous beach. Suggest you plan this so you finish dinner just before the beautiful sunset - and shoot some perfect photos to complement your meal. Located just behind... More

I went there with my 3 kids and the waitress was rude. She didn't stop and ask if everything was ok. She didn't even come to ask if we wanted dessert! Food was ok, I have eaten much better food in the island. The atmosphere and location were very nice. I would not go back there only because the service.

We had a large party of 12 people. They were able to sit us at a long table on the beach. Food was really good, everyone liked what they got.

To start it was our honeymoon and this restaurant went out of its way to make us feel special! They gave us welcome champagne and went out of their way to capture pictures and memories for us. The food here was incredible- my husband said this was the best steak he'd ever had. We were blown away. And we had... More

We had dinner with friends and everyone left raving about the food, service, and ambiance. Dining with your feet in the sand enhances the Caribbean dining experience, and this restaurant has delightful, friendly, knowledgeable servers. This is a must-visit spot each year, and we are never disappointed. My chicken with pineapple was beautifully presented and delicious, while my husband loved... More

On our trip to Aruba in 2014 it was recommended that we try Barefoot restaurant and get a table at sunset. We weren't able to make things work on that visit so we put it on our list for our next trip to the island. I'm glad we did. Reservations were for 6:15pm and we arrived a little after 6pm... More

Aruba is all about the fabulous beaches during the day, and the many great restaurants at night. It is only logical that these two unique things of Aruba are combined into one! Luc & Gerco found the perfect spot to synergize great food, and a beautiful setting to create an experience almost unique on our island. When listening to the ocean caressing the shore, while wiggling your toes through the pearly white sand, why not let yourself be pampered by a gourmet dinner? Chef Gerco & Maitre d' Luc had a shared dream of opening up a restaurant here, but wanted something in line with what they enjoy on Aruba: the nearly perfect climate, the possibility to always be outside, the tropical feel... When opening their restaurant, they had these ideas in their heads, and it worked like a charm! Tables under a large palapa on a wooden deck with a view of the ocean, or outside under the Aruban nights sky, on the pristine beach... An original menu was created by Gerco and Justin, with some of the old school favorites (sirloin with bearnaise, or tuna steak with teriyaki) as well as some original dishes not found anywhere, with unique combinations (smoked salmon & shrimp, grouper & mango or leg & rack of lamb) and wonderful vegetarian dishes. With the help of the local wine suppliers, Luc made an extensive wine list, with wines from all over the world, and is always ready to pair a wine with your dinner. The experienced service team is friendly yet professional, ready to wow you from the moment you walk in, to make a fabulous evening into a great memory on Aruba!
