The Barefoot is definitely one of the best restaurants in Aruba! Enjoy extraordinary and very delicious food with your feet in the sand. The staff is very friendly and take the most possible care of you during your dinner. We will definitely return...

Try to make reservation before sunset because the view and scenery is outstanding. Food quality is very good and very friendly attendants. Conversely, at sunset restaurant is crowded obviously, thus service is slow and your might experience delays or drink mistaken orders.

Barefoot is my favorite beachfront dining, food is always fresh and delicious and the service is the best. If you let them know you are celebrating an event they will do something special, every time!! Great service and great food can be hard to find sometimes on the island, but Barefoot NEVER disappoints! Looking forward to going back again next... More

We've been coming to this restaurant every year since it opened: romantic beach seating; great food; excellent service. Has never faltered in any of these categories over the years. No exception on this visit

We ate at Barefoot on the last night of our trip and it was probably the best meal we had on the island, and we ate at all the best spots. Very cool atmosphere and the food was great. Wish we would have gotten there a bit earlier to catch the sunset. Also, the server we had seemed a bit... More

Barefoot is for the most part an outdoor restaurant with tables on the beach (there is a small indoor area as well) which makes this a fantastic place to have dinner during the sunset hour. Very romantic setting. The service when the restaurant was mostly full was quite good but once a large party filled in the rest, the pace... More

This place is a must go to if you have a night to get away from the family or kids and go on a nice date with your love. The sunset here was incredible, the view was insane, and the food was out of this world. The staff is so nice and really in body what this "one happy island"... More

After arriving there turned out to be a perfect spot at the beach available after all! Don't go without a reservation because this is a popular restaurant. With your feet in the sand, sipping on some wine watching the sun go down......la vita e bella! I had the shrimp ragout and hubby had the scallops, both were of great taste... More

Aruba is all about the fabulous beaches during the day, and the many great restaurants at night. It is only logical that these two unique things of Aruba are combined into one! Luc & Gerco found the perfect spot to synergize great food, and a beautiful setting to create an experience almost unique on our island. When listening to the ocean caressing the shore, while wiggling your toes through the pearly white sand, why not let yourself be pampered by a gourmet dinner? Chef Gerco & Maitre d' Luc had a shared dream of opening up a restaurant here, but wanted something in line with what they enjoy on Aruba: the nearly perfect climate, the possibility to always be outside, the tropical feel... When opening their restaurant, they had these ideas in their heads, and it worked like a charm! Tables under a large palapa on a wooden deck with a view of the ocean, or outside under the Aruban nights sky, on the pristine beach... An original menu was created by Gerco and Justin, with some of the old school favorites (sirloin with bearnaise, or tuna steak with teriyaki) as well as some original dishes not found anywhere, with unique combinations (smoked salmon & shrimp, grouper & mango or leg & rack of lamb) and wonderful vegetarian dishes. With the help of the local wine suppliers, Luc made an extensive wine list, with wines from all over the world, and is always ready to pair a wine with your dinner. The experienced service team is friendly yet professional, ready to wow you from the moment you walk in, to make a fabulous evening into a great memory on Aruba!
