This restaurant is really off the beaten track but well worth the trouble to find. They offer a wide array of dishes with Portugese and Aruban influences which includes great seasoning. The owner is a bit of a micromanager which makes ordering interesting. We have been there a few times and appreciated the addition of a larger outdoor dining area... More

This family type restaurant is not very easy to find but well worth the effort. It offers an interesting variety of Aruban cuisine, authentic in nature. The maitre offered the recommendations of the day and he was followed by the chef owner who was very friendly, quite garrulous and proud of the dishes he offered. Our party of 9 ordered... More

Quaint and very amicable owner. Comes to table, sits right down with you. Explains the menu. Will customize any dish to likes, allergies. Sensitive to your needs.

For 27 years I've been traveling to Aruba. Gostoso's is absolutely the best. The service is fabulous, the atmosphere divine, and the food is better than anywhere else on the island and in the USA. It is my 1st recommendation to anyone that goes to Aruba. You can email ahead and make a reservation or call when you arrive. Try... More

We found this place last night on trip advisor and wanted to try it due to the reviews. It truly exceeded our expectations!!! The owner greeted us, told us the specials (which were presented like a story haha) and we were sold on several dishes. The fish soup and cream of vegetable soups were amazing, the octopus appetizer and great... More

It's hands down the best food on the island!! It's a little hard to find downtown, but it's worth the search! If this place existed in Fairfax, Virginia, there'd be a 3 hour wait!!!

The owner of the restaurant greeted us before and after the dinner, wanted to be sure everything was good. It was. This was our first night in Aruba and the food was quite good -- got local fish, well prepared ... It is very reasonably priced.

This is not a typical "touristy" establishment. It has a local and quaint feel. Our appetizer was very good (bacalao), and each of of our entrees, goat and red snapper w/ mango were tasty. The owner and chef were very attentive. We did not stay for dessert. We had a great time and we highly recommend Gostoso.

From the moment we stepped into Gostoso, we were treated like family!!! The service was phenomenal and the food exceeded our expectations! We had the avocado stuffed with cod, conch, goat, beef carpaccio, mixed seafood and tres leeches for dessert! Everything was prepared to our liking! I have worked in the restaurant business for over 26 years and I highly... More
