We ate at the Café The Plaza because the Pancake House had long lines in the morning. These outdoor restaurants are next to each other. We gave this café a try, and the service was very slow, if at all. My daughter ordered a coke and it came after we were all done eating, and then she refused it. This... More

We went for all you can eat ribs, well the price was more than they advertised on Facebook. Then they ran out of ribs. Bummer. Red wine from a cooler. Way to cold. Just wrong.

This review is a bit overdue, as it regards our vacation experience from late February 2017. Nonetheless, I especially wanted to comment and provide information about a fabulous bartender, Johan (pronounced Yo-haan) Dieke, we met at the Café the Plaza in Oranjestad, Aruba. Café the Plaza is located at the far end of the open-air Market Place Mall, near the... More

OJ is fresh and delicious. Great waffles with strawberries. Average American pancakes. We love crispy bacon and they serve it very fatty. They put lite syrup on the tables and you have to ask for regular. Decent service. Great place to go if you don't want to wait for a table at Dutch Pancake House.

Great place to go for breakfast. Good price. Orange juice the real thing. Also had their burgers, very good. Carlos does a great job bringing people in. We always go back every year.

We have visited Aruba 7 times and every time, we visit the Plaza at least 5 times. We really like their breakfasts and we always attend the Quiz Night on Tuesday, the day before we depart. This trip, we teamed up with an Aruban friend and formed a team. We were third out of seven at the end of the... More

While in Aruba, we ate in expensive (read, overpriced) restaurants. Some were good, some were not. If you don't want to waste money on dry fish or tough steak (as we did at Ike's Bistro), do yourself a favor and try Cafe the Plaza. The food is plain. The food is quite inexpensive. But it is flavorful and delivered as... More

Went for a quick lunch and I ordered the chicken liver with bacon and onions with rice while my husband had the 3 sate sticks with french fries. Since the waitress said that although she doesn't like liver, people who do tend to come back for seconds. This was the reason I ordered it. I love liver and order it... More

We stopped to eat food , sat down but no one came so we asked the waitress if we needed to order inside or someone will come and she gave us major attitude. The entire table left including the people next to us who didn't like what happened.
